{four}What is the best piece of advice you’ve ever received?
Scriptor @ http://allstarme.wordpress.com wants to know:
{five} Do you keep any little (harmless) secrets from your significant other?

Here are MY answers...I'm looking forward to coming around to read your answers!

{one} What is your go to spice/seasoning when cooking?
Well it appears I am not able to cook anything without garlic salt.  It is just something that always seems to find it's way into the mix.

{two} What room in your house best represents your personality? (brownie points for a pic)
My sitting room. I had a little video of it and I cannot get Blogger to cooperate, but I will keep trying. I love this "room" because it is just a small love seat facing the fire place with my two super cute metal chairs and my piano. The "room" is actually part of my great room where the TV is but it feels like it's own little nook and is a fave place of mine to relax and read.

{three} On a scale of 1-5, 5 being VERY, how organized are you?
I would say I am a FOUR. I thrive on order, but right now I have a pile of laundry waiting to be folded on one side of my sofa and books I have been using to develop my preschool lesson plans scatter on the other side of the sofa. So it's kind of a mess right now, but I am not feeling overly stabby about it, so I must be a 4.

And two from YOU!!

My Mima once told me that they key to her happy marriage was letting the little things go. She said, "Sometimes you just have to love them" I think this is good advice for people with teenagers too.

My life isn't that exciting. I know there are somethings that J has shared with me that Big Daddy would not want to know about, girl junk, so he is on a need to know basis when it comes to that stuff. But really other than that we share everything, I think. Well I share everything, he may hold back on somethings with me, but usually when he does I find out about it eventually, he can't keep a secret for long.

Those are some pretty awesome answers! I love the advice - your Mima is a smart one! And I should've added garlic to my answers - I always end up using it in everything!

Garlic is the best! And it is so much better when its fresh. I always try to cook with fresh ingredients when possible.

And yeah for organization!!!! I know my Organizationgasm board on pinterest is my favorite. :D

I was trying to think of where my favorite room is and I think I just love my little house. I love the kitchen because its sunny and yellow and happy but I also love my bedroom because its purple and cool and always picked up. :D The only place I don't like is the downstairs spider room. YEah....they seem to thrive down there. {shiver}

Mima is a wise woman. perfect advice if you apply it to teenagers and naughty toddlers too. and husbands. and i'm sure me.

i don't think i even own garlic salt. i just do it up with salt AND garlic powder. if i think i want garlic.

i linked you up this morning.

oh and your sitting room sounds delightful.

and i love that you aren't stabby about it. i think i'd be more organized without the herd undoing what little bit i have organized, but then, i wasn't organized before i had the herd. so, it's me. and poor training of the herd. i admit it. good thing they gotta just love me anyway.

love ya lady! good questions this week.

Your nook sounds lovely--the perfect place to curl up with a book or sit and talk with friends.

It does get tricky with the girl talk and not that there is deception it just isn't a want in breaking the trust so they WILL tell us mom things.
Garlic is great in ALL things so I am sure it will be the most go to spice. Ok I am going to go attack these questions thanks for hosting :))

I put a garlic/parsley mix on everything! That's too funny :)
Your 'nook' sounds wonderful. I really need to start decorating our house, I just.. don't feel quite like its home since we are renting.
Great advice :D

i ran out of garlic salt like a year ago, and refuse to buy any until I use up at least one of the three garlic powder containers I somehow ended up with in my spice cabinet. Funny thing is, it's been at least a year and I STILL reach for it in the cabinet on a regular basis, then get mad that I don't have any. We were raised to use it on everything! it's the best, and there is only ONE brand. gotta be Lawry's Garlic salt...with the lil' green flecks in it and the green lid ;)
