I Confess It. Is. So. Addicting.

I Confess...

This Confession is LATE. I am having a hard time finding time to blog lately.

Life is just sooooo crazy busy, between work, putting together my preschool, taking care of my family, and my latest obsession, selling things on a local Facebook group...I am just SWAMPED.

Add to all of this taking our Foster / Adopt training classes and getting the house ready to take in some littles and Mama is going a little cray cray y'all.

Nesting. I might get a little OCD about it.

I Confess...

Big Daddy has been a dream, of course, always jumping in and helping me whenever he can.

EVERYDAY he loads up the car with the items I have sold and goes and sits with me in a parking lot where I meet up with my buyers.

He never complains. He is actually impressed by the money I am making.

I also think he secretly loves that I am getting rid of shoes I've never worn, purses that are collecting dust and the million puzzles and games we have laying around that are not getting played with.

I Confess...

I have been at this for 2 weeks now...I added up my sales total so far.

Wait for it...

$756.00

Yeah, I can load up my car and sit in a parking lot for an hour each day for that kind of easy lettuce, yo!

I Confess...

I might be a little addicted.

But I am loving getting rid of my crap...and emptying storage boxes.

Sooooooooo NICE to purge.

(and get paid for stuff taking up space in my home)

On another note...

I am sure there are a few of you out there tired of hearing how perfect my husband is.

I totally get that, so this one is for you.

I Confess...

The other day I got in MY car and the seat was wet.

At first I was mad thinking Big Daddy had left the windows down while he was at the gym and it was raining.

THEN

It hit me.

Big Daddy. Took. My. Car. To. The. Gym.

That moment when you realize you are sitting in sweat.

Gross!!

I will leave ya with that.

EDITED TO ADD: a lot of people are asking me how I found my FB group where i sell things. Truth is I was invited by my cousin when we moved back to Hollister. My guess for finding one in your area is to search FB groups...maybe use searches like "Your Town Steals and Deals" or "Your Town Group Listings". Good luck!

I hear ya on the not having time to blog thing. I'm still trying to get back into the swing of it after being gone on our honeymoon. I'll get it eventually but its hard.

And I totally understand about the sweat on the seat. I don't know what it is but my hubby does the same thing and he's so immune to his smell and sweat that it doesn't bother him. Eew!

Ewww, sweat! LOL! I confess that I'm enjoying the wonderful spring and my few days off. I did the spring cleaning a few weeks ago, refrigerator, freezer, pantry and in my closet I keep a box that says "GIVEAWAY" on it. If it doesn't fit I drop it in the box. Helps. Good luck!

That is awesome that you are able to get your stuff cleaned out and make money one it and know it's going some place where it will be used.
Nick sweats a lot and there are times when I know he has no idea how much he is really sweating--he will hand me a hat or something that is just all wet and think nothing of it. I just cringe when he does that.

On a side note, I l-o-v-e getting rid of stuff too. It's theraputic. And then I don't feel guilty when I go shopping...

Happy Friday and good luck with all of the stuff on your "To-Do" List!!!!

In the summer, when I make less money, I am always looking for things to sell and yes, it can be totally addicting!

There are two groups of Online Yardsales in Massachusettts and my dad has a booth at local fleamarket so I declutter by just putting stuff over there.

I can imagine you are overwhelmed with work, preparing for your school and new children to enter the house...However very exciting too at the same time. (((HUGS))) I just think you needed that.

Awesome. I just donated a boat load of stuff. Well not really a boat load it was a suburban load. Still stoked to get rid of it.

Grody on the sweat. Eww big daddy, ew.

He does seem like a dream boat is all other ways though. You are lucky.

Happy say. Good confessions. And whoohoo for some cash flow.
