HOT HOT HOT

I Confess...

I feel a little guilty having a housekeeper come every other week.

I mean, I keep a pretty clean house but I like HER kind of clean better and really, who likes to scrub toilets?

Not ME!

But still, I work from home, don't have any littles messing the place up and I am paying someone to clean?

Yep, I feel a liiiiiiiiiittle guilty.

But not guilty enough to stop having her come, because coming home to a clean house is soooo nice, especially when you weren't the one who cleaned it!

I Confess...

It felt a little funny to do it in April but...

Big Daddy and I purchased our Mother's Day and Father's Day gifts for each other in the form of patio furniture.

My backyard is going to be darling by the time we are done with it.

The grass we had seeded is coming in nicely and Francisco ("that's fun to say") our gardener is going to reseed the bald spots and by June we should have a lawn we can play on!

Watch for pictures on an upcoming Happy List post! Weee!!

I Confess...

It has been gorgeous and Springy outside lately, perfect weather to open all of the doors and windows and enjoy the fresh air flowing through the house.

But I have been running my heat nonstop because Mima is here and she is always cold.

This also means that Coco is in heaven. She is also always cold, hence the clothing everyday (for real, not just cuz it is adorable).

Coco has been running around naked for a week now, it is so weird to see her without clothes.

I Confess...

I wish I could run around naked too...because it is HOT up in here, y'all!

Way to hot for this mama!

But ANYTHING to keep Mima and Coco happy....even though I feel like they are secretly plotting against me to take over the place.

I Confess...

I know I promised something a little more juicy for ya this week...I am still working on that.

In the meantime...what are you confessing this week? Grab a button add it to your confessional post and link up!!

I need to link up now while it's still morning and I have a minute!! I wish I could get a maid, don't feel guilty at all you work hard for it!! And those rates are so CHEAP! where can I get one that cheap up here? I'll sign up for a maid! :) I hATE scrubbing toilets and with a 3 year old boy and a husband who missis occasionally I would do a happy dance if I didn't have to clean that up!

LUCKY!
I'm excited for your lawn too, our lawn is crappy and only yesterday did I discover weeds that had sharp leaves on the ground...the kids can't play out there.. I hate lawn care!
Say hi to mimi for me!

I'd love to have someone come clean. however, such things aren't in the budget. So I get to do the cleaning. Thank goodness Nick will pitch in and help without complaining. I just have to be specific about what I want him to do.

haha wouldn't it be great to be able o be naked!? My 3 yr old seems to think it's OK, every time I turn around he's stripping his clothes off!

I am totally jealous of your maid, I would absolutely love if I could afford someone to come clean my house, even once a week! You are so lucky :) AND a gardener?! Oh my lord. Double lucky!
I love having the house hot in the Winter and Fall, and cool in the Spring and Summer.

What are you talking about? I LOVE to scrub toilets.

Also - does your Francisco have antlers? Just wondering.

I think you fulfilled your "juiciness" quota - afterall, you did speak of nudity.

We HAD been having some spring weather, but when I looked out the window this morning there was a skiff of snow on everything! Seriously...what the crap??

Oh man, what I wouldn't do for a house keeper. I wouldn't feel guilty at all. Well maybe I'd feel guilty about the money we spent.....never mind don't listen to me.

I am a horrible house keeper upper! hahah. I think they would see my house and either run away screaming or laugh hysterically.

I don't do hot either. I get very grumpy. Good luck. :)

Don't feel guilty, I totally wish I had one to come every two weeks. When I lived in So Cal the family I stayed with had one, and there is something to be said for them doing the detailed stuff now and again so you can more easily manage what you have to do. I may do this when I buy a house! lol

Yay for a lawn and patio furniture, congrats!

Uhhhh yeah do not EVER feel guilty about wanting someone else to clean your house. Helloooo, that is the most awesomest thing EVER! I'd do it in a hot second if I could!!!

YAY for new patio furniture. I have to confess that the closer we get to Summer the more sad I am that I am not going to your house this year. Thank goodness I still get to see you though, I miss me some Mama and so do my ladies (which the reminded me of just yesterday while driving in the car)

Running the heat is probably killing you & Big Daddy, you guys like a cool 65, I know, I remember! LOL :)

I am actually jealous of people who have house cleaners come in. I think I keep a pretty clean house, but professionals are just BETTER at it.

Right now, I have my windows cracked open to let in some fresh air... and my heat is still coming on and it feels great!

I think it is *Heavenly Angels singing* AWESOME to have assistance with housework. How wonderful...don't feel a little or any guilt there.
