SIXTEEN???
Does that picture scare you as much as it scares me?
Luckily it was just a little "make over" one of her friends did one night at a slumber party.
J doesn't take the time to fuss over herself and plaster on the make up and her hair is a wash and air dry no styling type of "style".
I think it works for her.
This is what she typically looks like. Now this is what I call SWEET 16.
We are sooooo not ready for that other look...maybe in another 10 yrs.

My oldest just turned 16 this month also, how did I not realize they were so close in age??? In fact I just blogged about it today too....only 15 days late. I'm such a bad mom.

It goes so quickly ... one day you are helping them pick out a prom dress and then you blink and its a wedding dress. Enjoy it, its an exciting (if occasionally bumpy) ride.

Wow!! 16! That's right around the time when my oldest starting wearing makeup. She came out looking like that first picture and I told her that was more of an evening look:-)
