Welcome to We Want to Know Wednesday Q&A hosted by:

Here are this weeks questions, brought to you by your's truly...
The theme this week is things that will not likely happen but they MIGHT, so having an answer would be a good idea, you know...just in case.
I am all about being prepared. You. Are. Welcome.
{1} If you could choose a Super Power, what would it be?
{2} What would be your first frivolous purchase if you were awarded a million dollars tomorrow? (and don't say "that's not a lot of money", it sounds pretentious)
{3} What would be the hardest current luxury for you to give up?
{4} If you were given a choice between being given great wisdom and great wealth, which would you choose?
{5} I you were to be stranded on a deserted island for 100 days what 5 THINGS would you pack?
Please stick around to read & comment on my answers & I will drop by to do the same.
{1} If you could choose a Super Power, what would it be?
Invisibility...I would want to be come invisible at any moment, way better than being a "fly on the wall" and it would get me into all those "members only" places so I could see what all the hypes about and get in on the secret club stuff. Not to mention traveling for free anytime. It is pretty much the most superior super power of all super powers. Think about it.
{2} What would be your first frivolous purchase if you were awarded a million dollars tomorrow? (and don't say "that's not a lot of money", it sounds pretentious)
This might sound silly to y'all but I want the Sonic ice machine and Diet Pepsi on tap. There is nothing quite like a Diet Pepsi, from a fountain, over ice balls, in a cup, with a lid and a straw. Hello Mr. Tall Dark and Handsome anytime of the day or night? Yes, please!!!
{3} What would be the hardest current luxury for you to give up?
Big Daddy wants to know what constitutes a luxury. Too. Many. Questions. Just answer.
gah! AnyIamaskingthequestionshere.
High speed internet. My head would probably explode without it. I have been at my folk's home where the internet is sloooooow and touch and go. Trust me high speed is a major luxury in my mind.
{4} If you were given a choice between being given great wisdom and great wealth, which would you choose?
Show me the money...I already have a husband who knows it ALL!
{5} I you were to be stranded on a deserted island for 100 days what 5 THINGS would you pack?
1. Fully loaded Kindle...gotsta get my read on.
2. Hammock..so I can lay around in style, and use to catch fish.
3. Pan...to cook my fish in.
4. Flint..I watch Survivor, and as my boyfriend Jeff Probst says, "Fire represents life. When your fire is out, so are you."
5. Machete..you know, to build shelter and stuff. Pfft...I could make stuff outta palm fronds and junk I chop down with my machete...you don't know me, I am crafty!

LOL at your answers!! :) I'm with you on the high speed internet. Remember the aol running man and long connection??? We've sure come a long way!
I think I'd die on a deserted island......
Traveling for free is my top favorite too! The Pepsi idea is good, especially during hot days.
I have a weakness for chocolate fountains. :)
Your answers with the island crack me up! Good idea with the hammock- very "survivorish."
Clearly- when I thought of my deserted island- it included unlimited food...I wouldnt have to work there right?? lol
Oh- Sonic. I miss Sonic. I love their little ice balls! I would get a soda from there and reuse that cup for like two weeks!!!
Happy Wednesday friend!
I'm a fool, M. Please forgive me. Did I make things right?
Nice call on the hammock doubling as a fish net!
Oh Yeah!! a Sonic Ice machine... oooobaby!! I may need a moment alone.
JUST yesterday I thought to myself how wonderful it would be to have a fountain drink machine. I've been hooked on Diet Coke/Pepsi's lately. Seriously hooked. I have loved extra ice all my life and my favorite are those square cubes that you have to get a scoop for to break up and stuff because the maker makes it in a sheet. Know what I mean? lol Anyway- that is the best answer! Don't be mad if I say the same haha! You'll see on my last blogs or two where I mention how I can't get enough fountain diet soda!
I am so with you on the high speed internet thing. I remember when I first got a computer with the internet and you could go do stuff while it logged on and that was normal... but now if something doesn't load instantly I get impatient.
Jeff Probst is cheating on me?
The Kindle is definitely a necessity - it turns an outdoor survival game into a vacation in my mind. One of the books loaded on it could be "How to survive if stranded on a desert island".
Wow! You chose some answers that I would not have considered. Really - why wouldn't I have thought about High Speed Internet...? :)
High Speed internet! We are some spoiled girls! Me too!
Good ideas for being stranded. I would seriously die ... ugh!
Dangit...I linked up on a post Waaay at the bottom of this page...wrong one! Sorry! Geesh! You may want to delete that! HA!
Awww see, I forgot a hammock!!! LOl Guess I'll be laying in the sand!
Love your answers and your already have wisdom, I would have never thought about traveling for free while being invisible!
Yeah I didn't even think of internet as being a luxury but I would totally die without it. At first. I am sure I'd adjust. Eventually. After the withdrawals. :)
Yay for invisibility and high speed internet!
I was so not that practical when it came to my island answers!
I agree on the Sonic ice! Oh my! I spent 81 days in the hospital trying not to have my baby and they had 1 of those machines right outside my door. I tried to get it in my bag but they wouldn't let me but at least the stay wasn't all bad!
OMWow! I can't believe that I forgot about high speed! Can you tell that I take it for granted? And diet soda on tap is pure genius!
I linked up!
Invisibility would be cool sometimes, but I would worry I'd hear people talking about me. I wouldn't like that very much.
Ew, no pop on tap for me thanks, but I like where your head's at. I would probably have an in house bartender to make me bloody marys. :-)
Yes, high speed internet is such a luxury. I hate battling through my parents slow internet connection.
Hehe, my husband knows everything too! Go figure.
I love the survivor skillz. You can come with me on a deserted island because my chopping prowess is crap!
I picked being invisible too. Traveling for free would be amazing! lol Thanks for hosting. Have a great day. Blessings, SusanD
You're right about the high speed internet thing, I'd rather go without than deal with a super slow connection!
And the Kindle! I always wonder if people bring them on the beach and stuff, doesn't sand get in the buttons?! I didn't even think of entertainment on the island, I'll be super bored!!
Invisibility! That's what I said...You can't go wrong.
Ice Machine and Diet Pepsi is brilliant too..nothing is better than a fountain beverage. Now I know what to buy when I hit the lotto!
Can you imagine having to go back to dial up? EEEKKKK!!!
I said money also....I mean DUH!
Love your island supplies...Clearly I'll need to get stranded with you, as my items weren't so practical!
Smooches and thanks for hosting!
I love your super power! That would definitely be awesome!
I couldn't really choose a luxury, I consider using a toilet (and not a hole in the ground) a luxury, showering every day a luxury, basically everything that I'm accustomed to is a luxury. I would die without my structure!
I liked this weeks questions!
I'm with you on the internet as luxury I'd miss most.
I cheated a bit and wanted to bring my hubby to the island, he's sort of a thing right?
Oh a Sonic Ice Machine would be super!!!!!
Invisibility truly is the best super power! I totally forgot about high speed internet. Could not survive without it.
Love this meme! So fun!
I choose to be invisible too...it really is the best super power : )
Have a great day!
Now that I have it, it would be hard to give up my iPhone:-)
I want to be on the island with you! I think our lists would go together perfectly!!
I think you and I are the only people that picked the money. We'll go shopping together!
Oh damn it! The Sonic ice machine! Why didn't I think of that lol? I love the "I already have a husband who knows it all!!"
Ooooh, invisibility is a good one! Wait til you see what I said! Tee hee! I love your answer to #4! I totally thought of saying that! We should compete on Survivor together! We could totally wield those machetes and show them who is boss!
love the sonic ice idea and the invisibility !!!
Invisibility is THE super power. SO many possibilities.
Hi-speed is def a luxury item I wouldn't want to do without.
I'm thinking you would be well prepared for any deserted island situation. I love how everyone includes Kindles or books. Reading is essential!
Hmmm ... didn't think about high speed internet, that's a good one!
Love these questions and am looking forward to checking out the blogs that have linked up!
Invisibility would be good. hmm.
I've never been to Sonic and I don't drink soda.
Oh yeah, on the high speed internet.
LOL at Big Daddy knowing it all.
I did not think about taking fire to my island. Now I am screwed! :)
You aren't kidding about the Sonic ice!!! Nobody does ice like Sonic. :o)
I feel like a bad Survivor viewer now. I never even ONCE though to bring fire. :o(
MACHETE! I love it. I think invisibility would be so totally awesome. Seriously. You don't know how many times I've wanted to be invisible. Great questions, lady! Happy Wednesday. :)
Did someone say Sonic Ice Machine????? I am so glad there is another lover amongst us. Did you know you can buy that by the bag?
Have a FAB day!
I so have an image of you running around a beach in a grass skirt and coconut bra, wielding a machete, lol!
Love your answers, btw! ;-)
Invisibility would rock! Not only could you go anywhere and everywhere, you could get away with robbing a bank (not that I support that idea =])! Cracks me up that you want a Sonic Ice Machine! Wealth over wisdom any day.
I can so see you with a pink machete, chopping down palm fronds and making something crafty out of them to decorate your island home. ;)
OH having been on dial up not to many moons ago I loathe it. I hate waiting and when you go from hispeed to dial up you are fairly sure that you are gonna age before the page loads
LOVE your answers. And I don't think I would have thought of invisibility first-but you are so right a definite must have super power!
I too would choose wealth-as if you have enough money you can buy smart people to do the thinking for you ;)
Thanks for the tip!!! I checked the box, so my email address should pop up now :)
And thanks for coming by to comment on my post :D
I picked invisibility too! Ever since reading Harry Potter I see more and more good uses for it!
I also picked high speed internet! I'll never forget the days of dial up and having to wait to connect and wait ever longer for your pages to load!
I almost laughed out loud at the my husband knows it all comment!!!!!!! (ok I lied, I did laugh out loud)
I never thought to use a hammock to catch the fish...hmmmm
I really enjoyed this blog hop today..I will have to join again next week!
Ooooh, definitely high speed internet. And I really think that chapstick is my #1 priority anytime, anywhere.
Man I need to go back and change my answer to #1. Invisibility would be my pick. Stupid brain wasn't working this morning!
I've never thought about having a fountain machine thingy at home! That would be awesome!
At my house dial up is the only option for internet so we cancelled it and now have it on our phones ... much faster!!
Love your island answers! I said big knife ... HAHAHAHAHA. I totally meant Machete!
Ummmm can I be stuck on a desert island with you because you are WAY more prepared than I am. Like I'm dead in a week you are building your own civilization.
See? Twins!! Our invisibility and our island adventures would be awesome.
What if I was invisible and you were invisible and we kept scaring eachother on the island? That would be funny. Except you'd prolly cut me with your machete and I bet invisibility doesn't mean that you don't die.
The diet-pepsi tap? YUM! I am totally feeling that!!! I love me some iced-cold diet pepsi on tap!
-VP http://relish-the-moments.blogspot.com/
Awesome! You are prepared for being stranded... Plus a machete would protect you!
Sonic ice balls.. hah.. Good one! I have never been into the coke craze, but hear Sonic rocks it.
I should have come up wtih something better for my super human power but yours is def. #1!
wow you are a survivalist. i would have dumb stuff on my 5 things. like kindle. iphone. wine.
ok comparing your 5 list and mine I sure hope if I am on a deserted island I run into you HAHAHA
Love these! LOL at the husband that knows it all!
YAY for invisibility and the internet!!
the internet... wow i didn't even consider it!! lol I'd be lost with out it!
I'm sorry I just got mine in. We had a very very busy day yesterday and some family drama. The linky was open so I snuck it in.
I really think you guys should have have reminder e-mail sign ups cause I always forget I and I love doing these!
Love your answers. Totally great idea getting to travel for free!
Ahhh the ice machine sounds glorious. I love chewing ice. I used to crave it when I was working. I'd sit & my desk & comp away. Ice balls are by far the bestest Evvah!
High Speed Internet... I have it, or well I am "supposed" to have the highest. I call Bull.... It runs like a slug, it annoys the heck out of me. I can go to my sisters a few blocks away & go a million times faster. Grrrr!
Jeff Probst, I love him... ohhh those dimples, man am I a sucker for dimples!
