Recycling from 2007, You. Are. Welcome.

Today I am missing my kid.

Not in the "where is she?" sense.

More in the "aww she is growing up too fast wish I had hit the pause button" sense.

The fact that somehow she "unfriended" me on Facebook, may have a little to do with it.

But that is a story for another time, it is still under investigation (it may have been babymama).

Here is a recycled post from September 2007.

Jordan loooooves to hunt for frogs. She could do this all day long and never get tired of it. Here she demonstrates her hunting skills for Grandma and Grandpa Machado:

Step One: flood frog's home with water

Step Two: wait patiently

Step Three: when they come up and ask "what the...?" grab them FAST!

Step Four: giggle your butt off

video

once you have a frog...find its buddy by repeating steps one thru four....ESPECIALLY Step Four!!

video

ok so i know you need to kiss a lot of frogs before you find your prince, i get that *wink*...but...i have never heard about the frogs kissing each other...until now (only J could come up with this silly stuff)!

video

I love her...a lot.

well you learn something new everyday,, now I know how to hunt frogs,,too funny! It is hard to see them grow up,, my daughters are 31 and 36,, still my babies.I do have to tell you though something hapens when they get to around 27 or so,, they become real close again.I think they realize how much we all need our mums. Now this is just my experience,, maybe others find it different,,

Oh my, I'm sorry to hear that. That plain old stinks and surely feels like a kick in the heart.

This old post is fantastic ... I read it a couple of weeks ago and thought the same then! She's very very sweet, that one!

The good news is that she is normal. My Mom and I had rough patches during middle school and high school, but now we are best friends. I can't imagine how it must hurt as I only have a two-year-old, so I feel for you. She will come back after she has the chance to spread her wings a little.

I remember SEVERAL posts of her with frogs! LOL.

Awww, the tween/teen years. I am NOT looking forward to those years with my daughter! Thank goodness I still have awhile.

Oh my goodness, she is too cute! Seriously, I dread the day my children are teens. And where is this pause button you speak of? I need one.

Yep, totally normal ... even though it hurts. And then one day you are helping plan a wedding and you know that someone else will always be the priority but, you also know that you must have done something right because now you are friends. The beauty of this scheme .... grand babies!

Awww, I'm sorry. Hopefully it was a fully accidental 'unfriend' and it'll get promptly fixed.

How cute w/the frogs. They definitely DO grow up fast (I live thru my nieces and nephews)

I wonder if she'd still play with frogs...
