Hey y'all.
Nothing much to report.
I am at my folk's this week.
My mom had surgery on Monday so I am here to help take care of her.
You know, bring her refreshing beverages and chocolate and make her laugh.
The stuff Big Daddy usually does for me.
Well not ALL the stuff Big Daddy does for me...just in case your mind went there.
I am enjoying telling everyone who asks what she had surgery for that she got a boob job.
Which is really funny AND it shuts people up.
She doesn't think I am as funny as I think I am.
But that is her fault for instilling self confidence in me.
You see, all my life I knew I was fabulous and super funny.
Her fault.
Tonight I am making chicken enchiladas, per her request.
I figure as long as I am cooking for her and maintaining her Diet Coke and chocolate intake
I can be as funny as I wanna be.
Yeah, she drinks Diet Coke.
BUT
My daddy made sure their was some Diet Pepsi in the frige for me.
So I don't have to "slum it" drinking Diet Coke.
Of course the Diet Pepsi tastes better from a fountain, over ice balls, in a cup with a lid and a straw.
But Big Daddy isn't here to deliver it with love so...
By the way, I really miss Big Daddy.
So does Coco.
But he comes tomorrow night and we will stay here until Sunday evening.
That's all for now, I guess.
Thanks to everyone who signed up for the Favorite Things Swap. I should have everyone matched up by Monday.
I can't wait to be able to blog jog a little once I get home...I feel like I am missing out on tons of bloggy goodness.
My folk's internet is soooooo slooooooow. I have tried visiting a few blogs and will keep trying.
OH I wanted to tell you...Shawn and I decided that we are going to give a prize to the person who gets the most of their readers to link up their vlogs in April for "The Monthly VLOG".
More details to come, but you might want to start talking about it on your blogs and get your readers to get their Vlogs ready to link up on April 5...you can review the assignment for April HERE.

haha I love the tag for this post.
Wish I was there to be funny with you. We are hilarious together.
Wow. Are we confident or conceited. Whatever. We're funny.
How are mom's new hooters?
I laughed out loud when I read that Meg typed "hooters." My kid wanted to know why and I was forced to be cagey.
Happy hanging out with your mom!
Aren't we a bunch of Nosey Nellies!!! Ha! boob job, indeed! You are so funny!!! It's good to hear from you! :D I will say a prayer for your mom.
xoxoxo,
Ricki Jill
I so appreciate your sense of humor! You're such a bright spot in Blogland, so keep it rollin'! Hope your mom's recovery goes well and you have a happy reunion with your hubby!
Girl, I can tell you are distracted. :)
Somebody get this woman a diet pepsi over ice balls in a cup with a lid and straw delivered by her big hunka love, STAT!!!
ps i was a loser and didn't get time to hem and haw and slide into the swap at the last minute! LOL!!!
BHAHAHAHAHAHA! Boob job! hahahaha. You really are funny. All except that part about slumming it with "Diet Coke." makes me wonder about you! ;) Hope she recovers quickly. You are good daughter. :)
Boob job! That's funny!
And coke is da bomb! LOL! But diet coke sucks! Actually, anything diet is gross....well Diet Dr. Pepper is ok. :D
Hope you mom recovers well! You're such a better daughter than I am. My mom had surgery last Monday, and I didn't go down there to help. My brother lives by her, it's his turn! LOL!
Is there something wrong with Grandmothers getting boob jobs? My Moms look great!
Enjoy the time with your parents, I so take for granted the fact that mine live just 10 minutes away.
Did you tell Sara them are fightin' words? Apparently she's not scared of you yet. I'm sure you'll set her straight.
Thanks for checking in. We all miss you tons. I hope you get a DP over ice balls with a straw soon. That must be torture to drink from a can. I can't even imagine....
So Mimi is doing the swap or not?
Aw, you're such a good daughter! :D
Well wishes for your Momma!
I also laughed out loud a few times while reading! :)
Enjoy your time with your folks!
Diet Coke....YUCK! I'm with you, Diet pepsi all the way.
Cherish every moment with your mom, I miss mine every day! I hope she is well soon and you get back to Big Daddy where you are happiest!
Really? A Boob job? You are soooo the good daughter!!!

ope mom feels better soon
Your Mom drinks Diet Coke, but obviously lives in an area where Diet Pepsi is available. What is wrong with grown ups these days? Get her hopped up on some pain meds and bring her over to the light!
Anyway, Diet Coke drinkers aside, hope you enjoy your visit and your Mom recovers quickly.
Talk about withdrawals from the internet...
My dad didn't even HAVE internet! The only link I had to the outside world was contained in my iPhone. I was twitching by the time I got home...
Hope your mom gets better soon! I've heard boob jobs can be painful...:)
Such a good daughter taking care of your mommy :)
I am so excited to participate in the swap! I've got some shopping to do :)
I am glad that your mom is recovery well under your careful care:-)
Hooters he he he
i go a few years drining Diet Pepsi and then i switch back to Diet Coke. then back to DP. there was a summer when i thought i might never drink DC again. it was THAT out of control. i drank 5 60-oz-er's. it was not pretty. i also coulnd't sleep. i've never been as excited for diet coke since then. sad sad sad. that's when i had to make the first switch to diet pepsi. more bubbles. more satisfying. i'm back on diet coke mixed with dr pepper for now. i always have to mix with the real stuff. again, goes back to that one fateful day where i drank 5 60-oz-ers. once i did fall asleep that night i dreamt that i went to the diet coke factory. in my dream i remember seeing this huge metal basin and i was stirring the diet coke mixture. it was the disgusting black non carbinated thing. vivid!!! we had chicken enchiladas on tuesday. i made the creamy ones. still enjoying the leftovers for lunch. my favorite:)
Hope that your Mom feels better soon!
sounds like a very relaxing week.
So glad you checked in. Hope your mom is on the road to recovery. And my mind didn't "go there" when you mentioned the stuff big daddy does for you. Not at all! Hope you come home safely and soon!
"slum it with Diet Coke" - you crack me up.
Glad that your mom is doing well (and no, my mind did not go there.) haha! :)
