My Happy List

The tippiest top of my Happy List this week is getting to spend a whole week at my folk's house.

Big Daddy, Coco and I headed over the hill yesterday.

Just being here makes me HAPPY.

We love coming to Hollister as much as possible to bask in the awesomeness of my family.

Big Daddy goes home on Sunday. I will miss him. A. Lot.

But I am looking forward to the time with my mom getting our craft on.

We are thinking of opening an Etsy shop with my sisters.

My sister Amy makes amazing jewelry, truly stunning stuff.

My sister Meg makes super cute buntings.

My mom and I make hair pretties.

We are gonna make 100 items and then see how we feel about it.

Might be fun, I will let you know if we do.

Next on my HAPPY list are these two:

Seriously. Does it get any cuter?

OH and Girl Scout cookies. Are. You. Kidding. Me.

It's a good thing these babies ONLY come out once a year.

Honestly, these cookies DO make me a little HAPPY.

AND

I am supporting a good cause.

But

I feel like this chick:
Speaking of things that are bad for me but make me HAPPY.

Wednesday I bought 3 bags.

2 went in my freezer immediately.

1 has not been opened...yet.

I froze one bag last year and came across it around July. HAPPY!

It was then, at that very moment, that I realize I was the most brilliant person in the world.

I also realized it would be even more brilliant if there was another bag hidden in the freezer for say, September.

HAPPY and brilliant...a deadly combination.

Don't be jealous, you can do it too.

And finally, some delightful Good Mail from my friend Angela.

You see her commenting on my blog as ClandestineRoad.

She is a private blogger and I really HEART her for her amazing thoughtful comments and for kindness like this. HAPPY!!!

Thank you so much Angela, this is beautiful and it made my day. It has already found a home in our family room.

What a beautiful, and timely, inspirational quote from one of my favorite women.

So what is on YOUR Happy List this week?

Hi there, I'm back! I'm lame, and I linked up once and then went AWOL.

Thank god that big ol' wedding ended up being worth it because I was on the brink of insanity! Being married is much better than the process of getting there, ha!

I am WITH YOU on the Cadbury eggs, those things are incredible.

I LOVE making a Happy List! Yours is great this week! I have a REAL weakness for Cadbury eggs! They used to put them on clearance after Easter and I would buy them and hide them in the freezer...and sneak them out at odd times! heehee! Enjoy your weekend! ♥

Holy crap you so have to let me draw that picture one of these days lol!

OMG.

Cadbury eggs are my true love. Every year I wait patiently to purchase a bag and I will sit down with the whole bag and just chow down. Much like people do with Girl Scout cookies...those are my Girl Scout cookies!

This year I bought a mini bag because of my diet. *sigh*

Either way - freezing them is the most amazing idea I ever heard. YOU ARE A GENIUS! Maybe I'll freeze a bag for a reward of losing 60 pounds when the summer rolls around *shifty eyes*.

You're a very clever chocolate squirrel! :)

I'm glad you had a good time in Hollister...long may those good trips continue.

I need to share that freezing tip with a friend that has a Cadury Egg addiction. LOL! Really, it's for her, not me. I, ah, don't much care for them. I'm sorry. ;)

Hope you have a wonderful time with your Mama and family! Get your craft on! And post pictures! I would love to see what you ladies are makin'!

That angela! So thoughtful and crafty! I love the quote, too!

I wish I could figure out how to photograph the bunting and make it look as cute as it really is. That's my problem.

I'm soooooo jealous you guys get to play all weekend!

That pic of BD and Coco has just made my mental happy list! Soooo cute!

I love your new picture from your blogger friend. And it's PINK! Perfect!

I'm not a big fan of the Mini Eggs. I KNOW! They're chocolate so it doesn't really make since but I'd rather eat a brownie. Now those dang girl scout cookies are what's in my freezer! I'm ready for M to eat them all so I can quit looking at them!

Craft 'til ya drop, baby! :D

Our girl scout cookies did not last a week around here. Some girl scouts had a roadside stand selling cookies yesterday, and I resisted. I did not stop...I was so proud of myself. And I love the Cadbury creme eggs. They are pleasingly disgusting!!! :D

Have a craft-ilicious weekend!

xoxoxo,

Love the pic of Big Daddy & the dog! And those Cadbury Eggs are the bomb. I love the freezing idea, but I really doubt they'd last until July around here.
We've been scarfing down the GS cookies here too, oink!
Have fun with your family!

I'm usually a pretty smart gal, so how is it that it has never occurred to me to freeze Easter candy? This changes everything!

Forgetfulone said...

You should definitely open an Etsy shop with your mom and sisters. I've seen some of the amazing goodies you've created. Fun! And Happy! Girl scout cookies couldn't have come at a worse time for me this year. I feel like that lady on the treadmill. I'm doing my best to avoid them, though. Trying to get my cholesterol and weight down a bit. Easter candy isn't going to make it any easier, either.

Hope you have a fantastic crafty week with yo mama! Love love LOOOVE that picture of BD & Coco... that is all kinds of happiness right there! The Cadburry Eggs... those are my all time weakness! I buy WAYYYY too many bags this time of year. Uggghh & at Christmas time they made them in Red, Green & White too... that company is trying to get me in big trouble!

Awww... your pup is so cute.

And those eggs are amazing. I think maybe I'll hide some in the back of the freezer. I know I won't remember they are there.

I've always been a sucker for the whopper eggs at Easter. Too bad Turbo doesn't like them, I can't use him as an excuse to get them.

GREAT Happy List! Love the pic of Big Daddy and Coco! So cute.

That pic of the chick running (on the treadmill) away from the girl scout with all the cookies...that's SO me! Except sometimes I turn around and run after them. I love cookies. I'm such a fatty. Impulsive and I are starting the C25K thing. We'll see how that goes.

Hope you're enjoying your week at your mom and dad's!

Great list! I bought my first box of GS cookies yesterday! From a girl outside of Walmart...she didn't even have to ask me, I pounced her...oops!

Cadbury eggs are next on my list too! :)

I have BOXES of GS cookies in my freezer for the exact same reason! Frozen Thin Mints in August is divine!
