I ALWAYS start with "make TO DO list"
Then I list 2 things I have already accomplished.
This way I can cross 3 things off immediately.

I choose things based on their name or title.
Perfect example.
We needed to hire a gardener.
ok we didn't NEED to, but neither of us likes yard work.
So we hired our gardener cuz his name is Mr. Dong.
THAT is an easy check to write...makes me giggle every time I see his bill.

When I first started writing ads for SocialSpark I wasn't 100% sure about it.
I mean, I liked the idea of using my blog to make money.
But I was worried I would lose readers.
I didn't, and I really appreciate that.

Confession? I fake not hearing the baby cry so I don't have to wake up everytime. It has worked for years. (Thus 7 kids) .
I confess I can't blog that on my own page or I'd be caught. And I'd have to wake up more. The hubs is wise to my methods but had never been 100% sure about it.

I do the exact same thing on my to-do list. I also add and cross off things I did during the day that weren't on the list. It makes me feel so much more accomplished!

I'm a big list person. When I'm deep cleaning my house I make a list of what needs to be done. If I do something that I hadn't original wrote down I add it to my list and then cross it off. Gotta stay motivated!

I wouldn't worry about your birthday. I threatened my hubby that if last year's birthday (27, big whoop) wasn't amazing (bc the last like 4 birthdays I've either thrown him a surprise birthday or flown friends up to be with him) I would leave him. Yup. I love birthdays! And I love mine. And ever since we got married, my birthdays have sucked. And I really needed a good one. Well, he took me out and we spent the night in a hotel sans kids and did a lot of Farmer's Markets the next day. It was great, but it wasn't on my actual day of birth. That day sucked a lot. The only good thing was I got Dexter season 4 (it came out on my b-day last year!) and I got the Cock and Balls from VooDoo doughnuts as my cake!
This year, he has asked for my birthday off. LOL!
I confess I forgot all about confessions- again- and I would play along, but once more Chad gets the whole post. What can I say, his genius gets me hot.

Everyone was at Grandpa Sam's funeral on my 30th birthday so I barly got acknowledged. which is fine, I understood, but someone (sam) better alrealy be planning on how to make up for it on my 40th.

We have landscapers too-best money ever spent as well we both hate yardwork and it just wasn't getting done. Though I have no idea what their names are-Eric pays their bill and I usually close the curtains when they are out there working as I don't want them peeping in. Creepy!
I wish the docs would hire some eye candy for the office - it would make coming to work (and sitting at my station out in the HALL) more bearable!

Your to-do lists make me laugh! I do somewhat the same thing. I don't actually list things that I've already done. But I do make the list top heavy with things I know will take me about five minutes to complete, so I can have a lot of items crossed off quickly. :)
