We are talking flip flop weather people.
Mama needs a pedicure because my toes wanna be out in THAT!
I feel really bad for the people dealing with all the snow when I am here and enjoying the overabundance of blue skies and sunshine.
I am HAPPY after I read my sister Meg's blog ( I wish she wasn't private) and see how she is making the most of her snow days with her kids.
Seriously, when I grow up I want to be Meg.
She is the best mama I know. The have spent their days making sugar cookies and blanket forts. Reading books and having puppet shows. Making snow men and sledding.
AND a SPA DAY!!! Oh how I love these girls and I love their mama.
But even after all that fun snow starts to get to ya eventually.

NO MORE SNOOOOOOOOOOW!!!!
I think my little niece Q-bee is expressing beautifully how all you people buried in snow must be feeling!
Sorry guys.
Handmilled Lavender soap with loofa bits in it makes me HAPPY.
My mother in law got me some of this from Trader Joes a while ago...it lasts forever, smells amazing, exfoliates and is perfect for that before bed shower.

What is it about these cookies that makes me so HAPPY?
Big Daddy introduced them to me when we first started dating. At first I was like, "Umm gross...did these come from a Panaderia?" (Mexican bakery)
You know cuz he is half Mexican and always trying to push his culture on me.
(not really, but it sounds funny)
He said, "Umm no they are from Lofthouse and I got them from Safeway, try them"
There was no turning back...I get HAPPY every time he brings them home.
And
The last time I was in Hollister I pushed them on my family. HAPPY.
AND
a late addition to the Happy List this week.
My Pinktastic Swaptastic arrived late Friday afternoon HAPPY.
I HAPPILY opened all of the pinkness whilst text messaging my partner.
(what? I can say whilst...it's not THAT pretentious)
It was sooo much fun opening everything and pausing to take pictures and text to "oooh and awwww" properly. HAPPY!!!
I will do my post sometime this weekend and link it up!
PLEASE cross your fingers and think good snow free thoughts that my awesome partner Impulsive Addict gets her Pinktastic package soon!!
So..What is on YOUR Happy List this week? Grab a button, add it to your Happy List post and link it up!!

Once upon a time, many years ago I was super duper poor(strikingly similar to my level of poverty now) and I was in LOVE with those lofthouse cookies. In order to get them I cut my beer, coffee, and cigarette intake to save money just so I could spend $5 on those cookies. When I got them I would indulge in ONE HALF of a cookie a day.
Oh to have that kind of self control again. They are amazing and my my teeth ache.
OK I want to be MEg when I grow up too! How awesome is she and that adorable Spa Day?!!?
Those cookies are insanely good. Actually there're more like a piece of cake than a cookie, if they're the same ones I buy! That's what I'm bringing to Peanuts V Day party Monday morning!
I'm gonna try to get my Happy List post done before we head out for the day....
Funky Cold Medina makes me happy.
What is a Pinktastic Swaptastic? I want to play! I love your list. What a great idea for a linky party! I hope I did everything I was supposed to do for it :D
I am LOVING the Day Spa idea! What a good mom!
Mmmm....lavender soap with loofa bits? I love bath stuff!
Ok...I love sweets but I do NOT love those cookies. I've had them and I'm not a fan. Can we still be friends? They sure are pretty though. So you guys still have safeway? Our's went away many years ago. I never see them anymore. It's probably because nobody wants to live in Oklahoma. I get that.
i'm glad you liked you package. =) It was fun shopping for you.
I should do a happy list. I hear it's the cool thing to do.
love the happy list. Q-Bee about said it all. That's how I feel about the snow.
Thanks for stopping by my blog!!
Ugh, I am one of those people in snowland. I WISH I could go outside in flip flops. Just the thought of it makes my heart flutter. =) But I think we have about 6 more MONTHS of snow. Ok, maybe not...but it did snow in June last year. psht. So much for global warming....

Oh your neices are too cute!! I love the spa day, what a clever mama they have. I'm happy to be in SoCal and not dealing with the snow either.
Reading this post gave me an idea for a swap theme for you!
Maegan :)
I love those cookies! I don't get the enough though. :(
We've had great weather too. I'm only a *little* bit sad for those with all the snow. But not to worry, we'll be getting ours this week.
You sister is awesome! I'm so not like that. Wish I was though.
I ADORE Trader Joe's for those amazing unique finds (and for their salads...nomnomnom).
Go enjoy the sunshine and warmth for those of us stuck inside! :D
(and thanks for sharing about your sis...what a fabulous idea she has!)
Oh..I love flip flops!!!!
Love your list:)
Your Nieces are soooooo cute!!! I've done "spa day" with my girls but never that elaborately, I must make a bigger deal out of it next time, they will loooove that! Yay for getting your swap package, can't wait to see your goodies.
thanks for the compliment.
I triple heart that picture of Q. I want to frame it and hang it in the house.
Thanks for the love...um...the Spa Day idea came from YOU! When Jordan and had Emma weekly BFF sleepovers, and you did something creative and clever for them every week. The Foot Spas in a dish bin idea is 100% credited to YOU, sistah. I'm not so perfect. You'd agree if you could see the "nutritious" lunch of mini chocolate chips and slices of processed american cheese (with grape soda to drink) that Quincy just prepared for her and Reese.
The best part? Aaron saying, "Uh no, Reese, you canNOT have marshmallows in your soda."
Why not? Is it going to offset the healthy parts of the meal? LOL
Love you. Thanks for teaching me to be a fun mom.
OH! And have you tried the CHOCOLATE version of those cookies? Lovah!
Halloween. Wait for it.
i love those cookies to death. I must have some today. even though they are not WW friendly at all. but still delish. you mentioned your husband is half mexican. Well my half sister is part indian. And I always tell her to quit hating on my because I'm white.
i LOVE those cookies! i plan on buying some for my students for our little class party monday! :)
Thanks for the spa day idea! LOVE it! We have had a lot of snow here in Kansas, but thankfully, it is beginning to melt away. So crazy that we had a blizzard Tuesday, and next wednesday are expecting highs to be around 65 degrees! Oh, happy days!!!
Your sister is awesome! That picture of the girls with the "spa day" made me smile.
I LOVE those cookies! just seeing the picture of them has made me want to run to the store and get me some! Evil!
Spa days are so cool, something they will remember forever. My girls love it!
Those cookies...wow, my mouth watered when I saw that pic
Seriously laughing out loud about your hubs trying to push his "culture" on you!!!
Those cookies ARE THE BEST!
Sometimes? Well, okay, before I started eating "healthy" I would go to 7-11 JUST to get those cookies. They're like ginormous size and I'd eat the frosting off of them. I'm a pig.
Yay to wearing flip flops! I love that kind of weather!
Awe, Spa Day with the kiddies is so cute!
I want to wear flip flops!
Yes definitely very good cookies.
And your sister sounds like the mom I want to be too! I swear I used to be like that and do lots of fun things but lately it just hasn't been happening. I am making a goal to recommit to being a good mama.
And that No more snow picture is awesome!!
Those cookies are the BOMB-DIGGITY. Seriously. I won't tell you, ok FOUR, I ate once at ONE sitting!! Yowser!!!
Isn't it the coolest to wear flip flops when everyone else is wearing loves and ear muffs?!!!!??? Those cookie were $1 a Ralphs tonight and I passed them up. I'm a little bummed about that now . . . I like the idea of the list. Maybe this week!
I must admit that I didn't think much of those cookies the first time I saw them either, but they are mighty tasty!
Perhaps I shouldn't judge a book by it's cover so quickly???
Oh man, I SOOOOOOOOOO agree!!! Why are those frosted sugar cookies SO good!?!?!?
Those cookies make everyone in my family happy. My middle kid, a boy, often prefers those sugar cookies to a birthday cake on his day.
And I truly think he could probably eat the entire package by himself.
