Friday Confessional

I Confess...

I am not feeling well.

I don't have a cold.

I don't have the flu.

I don't have any kind of bug.

I don't have a fever.

I don't have a migraine.

I don't even have a headache.

I am not suffering from "lady town" stuff.

I just don't feel well.

I Confess...

I don't like feeling this way.

I tried to talk myself into feeling better.

I Confess...

I have not been able to convince myself.

I Confess...

I haven't tried very hard to convince myself.

Cuz, sometimes.

I just don't feel well.

I Confess...

I allow myself to wallow in it for a little while.

Ya know, just not feeling well.

For no very good reason.

I Confess...

Some days it is just how I take care of myself.

I say, "Meh, life can wait...take your time"

And

I listen.

I Confess...

I am beginning to feel better already.

I'm glad you're feeling better. Sometimes it's ok to just wallow in it a bit!

Awe, Mama. I'm sorry you've been feeling this way. That sucks. We all go through mountains and valleys...sometimes we're high (<----figuratively speaking, of course...for most) and sometimes we're low. I think it's just the ebb and flow of life. Hope you're back to you pinktastic, happy self soon! Glad you're starting to feel better.

Here's a virtual (((huh))).

Um...that was supposed to be a virtual (((HUG)))...not a virtual (huh).

It's early and I haven't had coffee.

I do hope you feel better soon. It sucks when the Mama is down.

I totally know what you mean; that was me last week. Feel better!!!

Susie said...

It is a good reason. Your body is telling you need rest and you should honor that request:-)

Glad you're on the mend, in whatever way works for you!

Yes, I know once I finally admit and say I am just feeling blah and that's how it is, it starts to help me feel better. *HUG*

April said...

So sorry that you've been feeling kind of BLAH here lately...there's nothing much worse. Sending lots of "Get Better QUICK" wishes your way!

Sorry, girl. I have those days too. Sounds like you might need a big ol' Diet Pepsi and a good chick flick. While You Were Sleeping always makes me laugh. :)

*Givin' you some Momma love*

Some times we all have to just deal with the ups and downs. Here's to hoping yours does not last to long!

Muuuah!

It's kind of frustrating when you don't feel good but can't identify what's wrong. January was like that--kind of on the verge of a cold, but not, kind of fluish, but not, kind of cranky, but not. Hoping your blahs go away soon. (I blame the weather it's been really blah lately.)

Wallow away! Sometimes we get so busy taking care of others, we forget to take days off for ourselves.

I hope you feel better soon!

I really hope you get to feeling better soon. Maybe a good dose of the weekend will help.

Wallow away! Perhaps it's the February blahs?

I hope you get out of your funk soon. :)

I know that feeling. It isn't a good one. For me, I turned to the Lord and said lots of prayers and got lots of blessing. It worked. But you do what rights for you! Get to feeling better soon!

Oh, and there is no shame in going into the doctor and telling him/her what's going on. Sometimes just that feeling of not doing well, is the only symptom of something very wrong with us.

Get to feeling better soon! {{{HUGS}}}

I swear there has been something in the air. But I love your attitude, that you allow yourself to feel that way. ((hugs))

Oh friend. I've been feeling this way too.
Last week was the king of all crap weeks. I felt off. I still feel it. I think I'm getting better now, but I hate it. HATE.
FEEL BETTER SOON.
Go get some balls. I mean, diet pepsi over balls. Ice balls. I mean Ice balls.

Lame. I'm sorry you're not feeling your oats (does anyone say that anymore?). I have felt that way a lot. A nagging something that's not specifically anything. I hope you find it and get it to go away. Maybe some Deep Thoughts by Jack Handy or 30 Rock will help?

"My father always said laughter was the best medicine. Maybe that's why several of us died of tuberculosis." (the aforementioned Jake Handy.)

Sorry you aren't 'feeling well' I have been having those days more often myself, though today I really AM NOT feeling well. So very sick right now but I hope you are able to start feeling better and better as time goes on. (and don't feel you have to write back, I can't imagine having all the reader posts or comments to respond too (how overwhelming!), just felt like saying sorry for the downness.)

Kimi said...

Oh don't we all know that feeling! I say wallow a minute. What's it gonna hurt right :)

I feel like such a bad friend, I've been so busy with life that I haven't checked in on you. I was so happy to read at the end that you were starting to feel better. I too want to give you (((HUGS))).

Hugs.

I wallow sometimes too.

Just keep swimming.

It sucks to just not feel good sometimes. I get that. Either emotionally being in funky town. Or long term illness getting ya down.

I get it.

Hope you feel sparkled and delightful again soon.

You know my self remedies for that right?

Wear fuchsia
Rock the cleavage
sporting sparkles and bling
Sunglasses and lipstick and hoochie make up.

Have a fab day lady!
