April is my Birthday month and after having a very rocky ending to 2009 and a not so great beginning to 2010 I was very happy to be alive and celebrating my birthday.
Hey you can never celebrate too many birthdays, right? Alive is a good thing!!
So we went to one of my favorite places San Francisco for a fun birthday weekend. Here is my fave picture from that trip. See that bird? It totally pooped inches from us just after the picture was taken.

AWESOME right?

AWESOME right?
We had lunch at my very favorite Dim Sum place Yank Sing in Rincon Center with my awesome in laws and of course Jordan.

April was also the month that the ever so wonderful Shortmama hosted a Spring Swap and matched me up with Sami who instantly became a forever friend.
OH and Hermie Died...who could forget the lovely funeral for Jordan's hermit crab who lay dead in his cage for MONTHS waiting for a proper burial?
Yep, still waiting for my Mother of the Year award on that one.
And who can forget when Jordan was reunited with her True Love?
May came and went in a flash.
We had some VERY unexpected company on Cinco de Mayo. I was even able to use a little bit of my limited-I-think-I-speak-Spanish-cuz-my-last-name-is-Mexican that day. Always hilarious.
I joined in with Shortmama on the Journey from Muffin Top to Skinny Jeans only to realize that I am damn sexy.
Uh, Yeah you read that right. Go on click that post, it's a great read. AND there is a music video!
I also found the bits of energy to decorate the PINK room. It STILL makes me happy to pass it whenever I go down the hallway. It does need some kids in it for the magic to really happen, but for now it is a happy space in our home.
Pete and Bella joined our family too. They are pretty cool...for cats.
June was another month that seemed to fly by.
J graduated from 8th grade.
My paper polka dot tutorial was featured all over the blogsphere. I still love these, they are in the pink room and the game room. My sitemeter still shows traffic coming from Google searches for the tutorial...and that is RAD!
I got tired of talking about MY Muffin Top so I decided to talk about Big Daddy and his 145lb weight loss!
I hosted my annual Red, White and Blue Swap and some goodness arrived from one of my friends Janna.
AND we wrapped up the month with a long weekend at my in laws B&B where we brought along 3 of my darling nephews.
So there ya go...a review of April, May and June 2009.
This whole review thing is a total kick, so much fun to look back and read posts, look at pictures and relive memories.

Great review:-)
Sounds like you were very busy last spring. Makes time fly by.
I'm laughing at the way you said "damn sexy." LOL
I really want to go to SF, I haven't been there in...like 15 years?
I would prolly get yelled at for staring though.
I know we're ALL busy, but seeing it broken down like that makes me realize just how busy we are/were. I think I "found" your blog right around now because I was in the RW&B swap. Great review!
I was looking at your pink room, love that letter board! So cute! Do you realize you have LDS, TCU, and joy in there? :) That is seriously beyond cute!
And I can see why the polka dots went viral, those are adorable!! I think I am totally going to have to make some for my daughter's room. Now if you only had a son.. I need some inspiration for my baby's room.
Thanks so much for playing along again.
Oh and that bird picture is awesome and scary all at the same time :)
I love that pink room. The flowers specifically! I just did max's room with some flowers and love to walk by and look at it still:)
The bird in that pic totally creeps me out!
