{one} do you collect anything? if so, what and how long have you been collecting?
I collect perfume bottles. I have been collecting them for years. I love the real old time unique ones. I have been collecting for about 10 yrs now.

{two} what is one cleaning tip that you swear by?
I have one of those glass cooking ranges. They get stained easily. I use a little Easy Off Oven cleaner and it comes right off and looks brand new...I get the fume free kind.
{three} who would you call for bail money?
My father in law...he might be the only one who would come and get me out of the pokey and not give me a really hard time about it.
{four} what is one thing you miss about being a kid?
I was just telling my mom yesterday that I had a great childhood. That I felt really lucky and super blessed to have a stay at home mom and that I wouldn't change a thing. My folks were/are really good parents. So I guess I miss all of it. But i really miss playing house. So I try and play that as much as possible now.
{five} name a few of your guilty pleasures.
ANYTHING pink, if it comes in PINK I want it, naps, road trips with my family, french fries and cute hair accessories. I can make any bad haor day look intentional with a cute hair accessory.
{six} how early do you start your holiday shopping?
I try to pick things up through out the year and tuck them away.
{seven} what is a family tradition that you would like to pass on to your significant other/children?
Our Christmas traditions. Then when J was about 9 we asked her what traditions she would like to add to our Holiday. She decided that to share a flannel story we have about Christ's birth and then as her younger siblings got older they could take turns telling it (still working on those siblings). She also thought we should watch "Charlie Brown Christmas" ("cuz it talks about Jesus and stuff at the end") and make S'mores on Christmas Eve. I love how she created these new traditions to add to mine and Big Daddy's each year.
{eight} what do you consider your greatest achievement?
My VERY happy marriage. It just works and is easy, I love that about US.
{nine} what do you do to pamper yourself?
I love a nice fresh pedicure. I also enjoy getting my hair done. OH and a spa day. I wish i had more time and money to all of those things more often.
{ten} if you were to start your own restaurant, what would it be called?
YUM or Just the Good Stuff or Comfort Kitchen. I think about this all the time because I would love to open a little soup and sandwich shop, so the name changes daily.

I'm surprised you still like getting your hair done...you don't fear it? Yet?
I collect fat cells.
Great answers! And great questions :)
Great answers to you FANTASTIC questions..
I love your perfume bottle collection. That is very unique. I love that you have a very happy marriage and that the kids add on their own traditions. I have the same obsession to pink but often times I do it without even realizing,
I am proud of my very happy marriage too! It surprises me sometimes that other people aren't as blissfully happy in theirs...
Ooooh! Those perfume bottles are so pretty. And I would totally come and eat at your soup and sandwich shop. Fun names! This is a cute meme - I may have to join in sometime.
I would love to shop for presents like you do, but I always get worried that the person already have the present by the time I give it! So, its procrastination by default!
I tuck things away all year for Christmas too. The only bad thing is that sometimes I forget what I have and then overshop! :)
"I collect fat cells" ?! hahahaha
I love your perfume bottle collection. I like that you have a mix of sentimental and new things all over your house.
And is fonzo working behind the counter at this soup and sandwich shop? If so, I'll take a grilled ham & cheese, por favor.
Great Questions you came up with! I linked up on my blog, too
WOW, I loooooooooove those perfume bottles! What a cool thing to collect, they're gorgeous!
Perfume bottles would be so cool to collect. Have you ever done a post on them? It would be cool to see some of the different ones.
I like that you let your daughter pick out some traditions.
I like your perfume bottle collection. I have a beautiful, swirled blown glass perfume bottle from my trip to Ireland. I have gone through several collections over the years - salt & pepper shakers, cookbooks, troll doll banks from the 1960's, tea sets (both miniature when I was a child and regular as an adult), Frankoma pottery bakeware (especially Oklahoma Centennial pieces), demitasse tea cups and saucers, vintage Fire King Peach Lustre dinnerware, cookie cutters, etc. The only ones I still avidly collect would be the Fire King, Frankoma, and cookie cutters. I have the entire Frankoma Oklahoma Centennial set and a full set (plus extras) of the Fire King. I have thousands of cookie cutters, but they are all in storage, except for two I have on display. One is an Egg Baking Powder biscuit cutter from the 1901 World's Fair, which is very rare. The other is a wooden cutter/candle holder that my mother gave me a few years ago. I love its simplicity and dual purpose. :)
I love my marriage too....I have a great hubs!
I could totally seeing you running a soup and sandwich shop. It would be one of those friendly little local places that has regulars and you would know everybody's names and holler to them as they walk in the door and hold and kiss babies and chat with them about life and school and family and ask if they want "the usual". I can see it now... :)
Just blogging around this evening and found your blog. I love reading all the different blogs, they are all so different and unique. I tired to sign up as a follower, but sometimes I don't quite get it right, so I don't know if it will show up or not, but I tried anyway. I've done it sucessfully a few times, but somehow I forget how. Thank you for letting me visit.

Love the bottles, they are just beautiful. Collecting, aw, I love books, old books and I have way too many so I've stopped that. I really like to collect what makes my eyes go big with joy.
... I am still laughing at Mimi saying she collects fat cells.
What awesome questions & even better answers!!! Your purfume bottles are beautiful. I hope you get to start a new collection soon... maybe collecting children. :)
I love family traditions, what a fantastic idea to have J think of new ones as well.
I LOVE LOVE LOVE my marriage as well... I wish that everyone who makes that commitment REALLY makes the commitment and enjoys every moment of it!
So... I would totally eat at your restaurant. Well, if I was ever in your town that is : )
