I said people who do are a little bit crazy.
Even now I cannot believe I am
THAT person
ME!?!
What the whaaaa?
But it is COLD
and
I love her
So it HAD to happen.
Really.
I had no choice.
It would have been totally irresponsible for me NOT to do it.
She would freeeeeze.
So
I bought her a SWEATER.
Just promise me this,
IF you ever see her in a tutu
or anything that some stupid socialite would put on their dog...
call the Crazy Home people to come and pick me up.
OK?
No, really promise me.
Because the ONLY reason I bought the sweater is because my sweet Coco started to refuse to go outside.
And she was FINALLY potty trained.
So I panicked.
She REALLY did need the sweater.
I guess I am OK being THAT person.
Ya know, for Coco.
P.S. yes, I do see that she is sticking her tongue out at me in the middle picture. I had just finished telling her the sweater was for her own good.

i have a Chihuahua and she gets so cold that we have to put sweaters on her in the winter time! You're not crazy at all :).
I thought those people were nuts, till I owned a small dog, and then I began to rethink! :).
She's a cutie!
That is so funny! She does look adorable.
I have a yorkie, and I just ordered her a few sweaters for the winter.. Last winter it got to the point where she wanted to go inside on puppy pads all winter. So don't worry, you're just being a good mommy! And she does look cute :)
yap, you've crossed over to the dark side. j/k it's a very respectable puppy sweater.
it's ok to be "that" person....there are a lot of "those" people and if your "that" person trust me it's better than a lot of other things you can be! LOL
I've seen worse, so that makes you not *quite* THAT person. Yet. LOL She looks cute! My mom used to get her doxies little sweaters - they used to shiver like they were going to come apart!
Ah....too cute!!
The question is ... now that she has a sweater and is warm ... is she going outside?
I'm totally buying my dog a sweater this year for the same reason. I don't care about being that person; I have to take care of my pets.
So cute! My Chihuahua, Lucy, has to wear sweaters! It's just way too cold here in PA for her to go out without one.
Oh, Girl...not sure I can look you in the eye anymore.
I have a Golden Retriever, so I totally can't relate to the perils of owning a small dog, but I can see why it's necessary, so I won't give you too much grief.
However...if I see you carrying her around in any kind of dog carrier covered in feathers, OR wearing a hat...we may not be able to be friends...:)
HA!!!! At least it's not a dog snuggie!
AWWW!!!! I think she looks ADORABLE!
She is SO adorable!! She's the kind of puppy that can get away with wearing a sweater. Too cute! Our puppy is being a princess about going outside when it's cold too. Kinda funny. I wonder if she could pull off a sweater...
aw come on get the tutu. think how fun that could be. even I've seen the cute puppy clothes and wanted to buy them.
She looks sooooo cute! You keep being THAT person because it is freakin adorable!
LOL! I am still swearing that I will never be that person! I think once I cave to buy a dog...I know the outfits come soon after,
I thought we could be friends...but dog clothes...oy.
LOL its super cute!
It's pretty darn cute and I am totally NOT a dog person.
My boston terrier has clothes too. He doesn't hate them but this year he's getting booties. I can't stand to see how red his little paws get when it's cold and rainy.
doggie + sweater = cute.
Just remember to do her laundry.
sweater funk is gross.
Did you paint her toenails, yet?
Oh hell.
:)
A girl's gotta do what a girl's gotta do. And she is WORKING that sweater! ;)
:-) :-) :-) :-)
So when I first started reading this post I thought maybe you had bought a Snuggli... I used to think they were lame but after folding blanket after blanket day after day (thanks to M), I'm thinking of getting her one for Christmas. (and if you do have a Snuggli already, I totally DONT think that YOU are lame).
I thought you went and said something to someone that would have been better kept inside, but this is a freakin' cute post! I love that little doggy sweater!
The dog is adorable. My dogs have worn the occasional Halloween outfit, but that's it. My hubby probably would think I was nuts if I tried anything else. (I think he already thinks that about the Halloween costumes, to tell the truth.)
