Insert Clever Title Here

I just don't have the energy to entertain a creative post today...but I have this overwhelming desire to reach out to my blog peeps and say hello.

But, honestly...I got nothing. I couldn't even come up with a title for this post.

I suppose I could go through the million pictures I have yet to post and create a little bit of cuteness for you to oooh and ahhh over.

nah.

blah. blah. blah.

I guess I am blogstipated. It has happened before. It doesn't last long.

I think I will stretch and do a little blog hopping. Maybe something will inspire me.

For now I have a few questions...if you will indulge me.

1. What do you do when you are blogstipated?
2. Do you feel a sense of responsibility to keep your blog current for your readers?
3. Do you ever delve into super serious topics on your blog, just to get it out?
4. Do you have a blog post in your draft folder that you WANT to post but are nervous to post?

OH wait...I do have something to say.

I knew once I started typing it would come to me.

Sorry for the second comment, but I keep thinking about this and think we all must keep some things to ourselves. Some posts change the landscape of the blog, if you will and I think all of us bloggers try to keep the tone of our stuff consistent. (Or most of us--sorry for making such a grand generalization.)

I can't remember which blog I was reading and stumbled up on your blog. I think it had to do something with a swap. Any way - your post just tickled me so I wrote the word down. Then I got to thinking about the word - I love words especially made up words. Ooo - should blog about that some time. Then Ityped it into my title field on my blog and started writing. So I wanted to share my post inspired by you :)

I used to feel the need to keep current but I really dont any more. These days I let myself just take days away when I feel like I really have nothing to say. I dont want to type something just for the sake of posting. Sometimes I have days where I think of bunches of ideas for blog topics so I start out a few sentences in multiple drafts and save those for blah days

I very often get blogstipated! LOVE the ord, by the way!
I used to feel all sorts of pressure to post every weekday, but now that most of my best bloggy friends are also Facebook friends, and some of them text buddies, I don't worry about it so much anymore. I do make sure to keep my "commitments" such as Quince Quote or my new Symfully Sweet linky party, but otherwise, I don't hesitate to take a day off. I think I'm better for it.
I try to keep my tone pretty consistent, but I am not worried about doing a serious post, if I feel so inclined. I think my friends would forgive me...

I think sometimes posts like this are just perfect! Honestly it is really nice to know that other people don't always have the perfect post every day. A lil breather here & there never hurt anyone :)

I've been almost to the point of dreading my posts over this summer. It's been a rough time and I didn't really want to dwell on it or tell the world. So no posting about what I was constantly thinking about, which makes it difficult to come up with anything else to post. Not too many things going up...but I do like to repost some old favorites, maybe some from back when only my mom read my blog.

Blogstipated is an awesome word! I'm totally going to use that. I've been blogstipated for a while, but instead of being nice and telling everyone about it I go and try to fake one.
