My Happy List

This week is so overflowing with happiness I really don't know where to begin.

We have been sooooo busy, if you follow me on Facebook, you know that 5 of my nephews, Parker 10, Zachary 9, Tyler 8, Brock 6 and Steven 5 are all here for our Annual Camp Vasquez.

This is our THIRD year hosting Camp Vasquez and let me tell you, it is a week we look forward to every Summer.

Next week I will post all of the darling pictures of my adorable nephews on our many wonderful adventures.

Conversations overheard this week...

Steven {5}: When I grow up I am going to live in a really big house with lots of cars and a boat and a big playground.
Brock{6}: I guess all I really want is a normal house, a nice wife and a little money for my kids. But not be at work all the time.

Steven{5}: If the X games thing doesn't work out I guess I will be a car designer.

Tyler {8}: I wonder why the tour lady at the police station picked me for the fingerprints?
Zachary {9}: (dripping with sarcasm) gee, I wonder
Parker {10}: (equally sarcastic) Yea, really...I wonder why?

Zachary {9}: So Parker, You toured the Police Dept. and the Fire Station. Do you still want to be a cop or do you now realize Firemen are cooler?
Parker {10}: I still want to be a cop, it's time to change the image.
Zachary {9}: yeah, good luck with that.

Steven {5}: Aunt and Uncle are the coolest in the whole wide universe.
Brock {6}: Noooo they are the coolest and best Aunt and Uncle in all the history of the world.
Steven {5}: Oh yeah, that's right, I keep forgetting. Wait, that's bigger than what I said right? Like it's more and better?
Brock {6}: Steven, you will learn soooo much once you get in Kindergarten.

Brock {6}: Steven look! Steven LOOK, STEVEN LOOOOOK!!!!! Ahh Steven, why do you never look when I tell you to? You know you are missing everything I see that is awesome.
Steven {5}: I know Brock, I miss EVERYTHING that is awesome. Sorry bud.

Tomorrow my siblings, their spouses and maybe even my folks will arrive for a family BBQ and pool party. We will wrap up Camp Vasquez with a slide show and awards.

I am really going to miss these kiddos...like a lot.

This week always goes by way too fast.

I just have to say how thankful I am to have such an amazing husband. Seriously we are a pretty FABULOUS team...I love that he spends one week of his vacation time totally devoted to Camp Vasquez and these boys love him for it.

So, What's on YOUR Happy List this week?

I love that when Steven described his future life, he described Marks house. When we got home last night, Reese asked me, "how come we don't have real grass like at Grandma's?" Quincy then jumped in with, "but Reese, at Grandmas there's no bedrooms that is pink so say, that's ok!"

Seriously this is one of the coolest things ever! Yay for you two for being such awesome figures in these kiddos lives! I have like 5 posts in the works & didn't have time for a happy list post, but my happy list this week is my neice overcoming HUGE obsticals & riding kiddie rides at the fair, but only wanting to do them with me. Seeing my sister & brother in law on the sidelines crying with such joy seeing her venture out of her comfort zone was an awesome happy moment that I was truly privledged to be a part of!
