Well along with hours in the pool, trips to skate parks and time at my in laws B&B we also had a little down time.
And, we went to choose a new puppy. I am still in total disbelief that in just a few short weeks we will be dog owners but here is the puppy we chose...a darling little girl. Name yet to be determined. I want to name her Kitty, cuz that would be hilarious..."heeeere Kitty Kitty!" But the boys think we should name her Coco..which is also cute.

Tyler fell madly in love with this little guy, so cute!
The puppies are Chiweenies...mama is a weener dog and papa is a chihuahua...It will be fun to have a dog, and this sounds like a really funny mix. More to come on this soon,maybe we will even have a contest for her name, including fun prizes, oh fun!The boys ate outside a lot. After the first 2 days sweeping up piles of food after every meal, I got wise...it took me a minute, but picnics were the logical choice.
The boys LOVE Jordan's huge puzzle collection. But it was Tyler who put together at least 3 puzzles each day. The boys would be playing or swimming and Ty would decide he had enough excitement and I would find him here at this little coffee table in the game room diligently working on a puzzle.

I wish for a chiweenie, I wish for chiweenie! Oh how I wish that wish would come through! Now there's a puppy I would gladly awaken to in the middle of the night to housebreak! Love your blog! Am trolling through other posts as well. This is terrific...did I mention I wish for a chiweenie?
Puppy! I'm so jealous! I've been slowly chipping away at my hubby trying to get him to let me get a puppy. And I'm so jealous that the little pup is half weenie dog! I love weenie dogs. I used to have one and they'll always have a special place in my heart!

A couple of things.
1) My parents just got a dog and my dad wanted to name him Cat. My mom was completely against it. Then he suggested...Diego del gato. She went for it. Later, I asked her if she knew that gato was spanish for cat. She didn't and was pretty mad at dad. Hahaha!
2) A few months back we visited a pet store after breakfast to play with a pup. We have done this MANY times before, but for some reason, Claire did not want to leave the little puppy behind. It was the first time we had even heard of a chiweenie. She sobbed when we left, calming only slightly when I said to her that we would talk about getting another dog when she was 10. I have less than 4 years to go to talk her out of that one.

Puzzles are Boo's big thing, she rocks at them and has a HUGE collection of them. Tomorrow she wants to start her first 1000 piece puzzle...oh my!
