Cooking With Jordan #25 Crescent Cookies

WOW, it has been a loooong time since J and I did a Cooking with Jordan episode.

She and I went to lunch on Monday and really just kind of reconnected.

Being a teenager is hard.

She and I had a MAJOR heart to heart and she said she missed the "good times" we use to have together and that she was "sorry for being so mean and saying not nice things" lately.

So we came home, looked in the pantry and fridge and put together a fun new and easy recipe.

This one is YUMMY and super easy.

The whole point of the cooking lessons for J is to show her some basic easy meals, teach her how to plan a menu, learn how to follow a recipe and help her become more comfortable in the kitchen...this is not anything totally gourmet or culinary school worthy. We hope you enjoy Cooking With Jordan and try these recipes with your kids. They are totally J approved!

Nutella Crescent Cookies
open up any refrigerator crescent rolls and preheat oven
according to directions on package
press ONE side of triangle in sugar...we used Splenda, no sugar in the house
spread a nice thin layer of nutella on unsugared side of triangle
Roll up triangle from base to point
"clean" the knife
place on parchment paper covered cookie sheet
bake according to directions on crescent roll package
while they bake play with puppy until she falls asleep
don't bother placing golden brown crescent cookies on a cute dish to serve
enjoy while standing around stove in kitchen
get thumbs up for deliciousness from cousin Tyler
the chef/baker/cook herself
big thumbs up from Mamarazzi
mmmmm good from Big Daddy
and a final thumbs up as they disappear...YUM!

Great job J! I need to try those, I've got almost everything I need. Awe being a teen IS hard. Sooo sweet that she knows she has been mean. That means she doesn't want to be. LOVE your puppy, I wanna snuggle too!

I have never tried nutella before!

Those look the BOMB!!!

But I can't even keep Nutella in the house because I'll find excuses to put it on everything. Toast. Bananas. Spaghetti. Just kidding about the spaghetti. But it probably wouldn't taste that bad.

How fun! I wish I was able to stop being PIA teenager and tell my mom I was sorry for "being mean and not saying nice things". You've got a good girl there.

I haven't ever tried Nutella, but I think if I did that I'd eat the whole jar plain. In one sitting.
Those look SO good, I'm gonna try em soon!
I bet you are seeing tons of e-mails from me for commenting. Cuz I suck.
That's how far behind I am.
So today you're the lucky recipient of a bunch of useless comments from me! Yay! :) LOL
