My Happy List

I haven't done a Happy List for a while.

It's not because I haven't had anything to be happy about, I have lots to be happy about.

I missed creating my Happy List...it has truly become a positive thing in my life; sitting down and coming up with a list is a great way for me to keep the good things in front of the things in life that are a teeny bit craptastic.

so let the Happy List begin...

First I am super happy that my NEW blog design is finally up and y'all can enjoy the cuteness. April from April Showers Blog Design did an amazing job. Thanks April, you rock!! (PS. if you are using Internet Explorer you might not be seeing the blog in it's full cuteness capacity, the code is having some browser issues, any of you have an ideas? BTW we just downloaded Google Chrome...loooove))

J is in Washington DC right now on a Smithsonian Student Travel adventure. My kid is far far far away from me so you are probably thinking, "WHY is THIS on your Happy List Mamarazzi?" Well I am not happy that she is gone but I am happy that she is creating memories that will last a lifetime. We have been thrilled to get the occasional text or phone call from her as she jet sets and explores amazing places without us. Her big plan to "text you pictures everyday so you can put them on our blog for all my fans" got lost in all the excitement. I just hope she takes her camera out a few times for more than just self pics of her and her friends. So BOTH her parents and her "fans are waiting for pictures, cross your fingers.

Before we sent her off we went to lunch at Chevy's and did a little shopping with all of the gift cards and money she got from her 8th grade graduation. The conversation we had at lunch will go down in history as one of our best conversations ever. I won't put her on blast here on the blog about it, but let me tell you it is most def on my Happy List.


Umm...I know I am doing the whole healthy choices thing. But I believe part of making healthy choices is simple moderation. Really, enjoy a treat now and then, it doesn't have to be all carrots and celery. So I discovered these a few weeks ago. Pretzel M&Ms...for real? Gimme salty combined with sweet and I am a very happy girlie. Go get some, like now. But get two bags so you don't have to share.


We saw The Karate Kid on opening day. If you see no other movie this Summer, do not miss this one. Now I went in not really knowing what to expect and pretty sure nothing would beat the soundtracks from the original Karate Kid movies (the ones with my boyfriend Ralph, technically he is still my boyfriend since I never had the heart to break up with him once he lost his stardom...but I digress). Not only was it one of the best "remakes" of all time, action packed, funny, awesome message, etc., the sound track did not disappoint.



And finally...see this little kitty? He and his sister joined our family about a month ago. His name is Petri, but Big Daddy calls him Petey. He loves to sit on my lap whenever I blog. I grabbed my phone to snap a picture and got these two.



Be thankful I cropped this one...the cleavage was outta control. No one needs to see that.

OH a last minute add on...these caught me by surprise, but are most def on my Happy List this week!!

My ABC Wall Art was featured on Singing With Birds last week as one of the Top Five Hits. I am not even sure how it all came to be but I am truly honored and appreciate the props. Who knew? I think I need to share my crafty side more often. I truly love creative fun and fanciful things, why not share it with y'all...right? OH and you should see the cuteness in the rest of the top 5, there is a very fancy sock monkey and a quiet book that I want to make. Anyway Thanks Gnee and Singing With Birds.

Lil Bit Of Us also featured my ABC Wall Art on their Friday Favorites...amazing! lovin this! Who knew people would love it as much as I do. I know I already said that, but seriously, who knew?
