Seriously there were more than a few times we wondered if she would make it.
J has some learning disabilities and school does not come easy for her. We found an amazing Charter School her 5th grade year and enrolled her. This school is filled with amazing teachers who are fully committed to their students.
J was truly blessed to have such incredible teachers who not only catered to her needs but also made many concessions in order for J to be able to complete assignments and get good grades.
It was this school that took J from being a failing student to a fully thriving student. She learned how to study and prepare for tests. She grew socially and emotionally. She felt success, and wanted more of it.
and now, Jordan is ready for High School...well prepared by this amazing school and a little hard work from Big Daddy and me too, dude, we have earned the right to toot our own horn a little.
Not many pictures from the graduation party turned out...this one isn't even that great. The cake is REALLY blue, and not exactly what we ordered but it was delicious!
our gorgeous grad!
Daddy's girl, growing up.
The proof is in the diploma...holla! Proud grandparents...my awesome in laws.
J and her crew...we love these girls!
2010...woot!
awwww...such a sweet moment See the light orb above J's head? We think that is Paul's dad, who passed before J was born, but clearly hasn't missed a moment, always there in spirit!
PROUD parents...
My in laws never miss a moment...we are so thankful they took the time to dive the 2.5 hours to celebrate this girlie!
J getting her diploma...
