I know I just made the post a few minutes ago, but you know bloggy time...it passes so quickly you may have missed it.
Well this is my first It Happened Post.
It happened WAY BACK in October...2009.
I know LAST YEAR..we are going waaaaaay back here...

We spent the afternoon at one of our favorite local picnic spots. We love going there and sitting inside of the large willow trees and basking in the quiet beauty of this little bit of goodness in the country.
Since it was pumpkin season the farm was offering a haunted tunnel, pumpkins, games and horse rides.
We were surprised when J wanted a turn on one of the horses. I think she thought telling them she was an experienced rider would allow her to take the horse off on her own for the ride around the farm. NOPE. The look on her face as the guy was telling her he would be walking her horse was awesome. I really don't know why she thought it would be fun, but she picked her horse "Thunder" and off she and the little man went for the ride in a circle around the farm.
We know that was probably the last year Jordan will want to go to the pumpkin patch, she is growing up so fast. So I wanted to make sure to get this posted before she is off to college. *sigh* Yes, I know she is only 14, but still. She will always be Daddy's little girl...whether she likes it or not.

i am hoping people will play. f for no other reason but to link up and get traffic to your blog.
I'm playing along! I actually had a post sitting there in my drafts looking sad and forlorn, what great timing!
thanks Mamarazzi :) This was a great idea!!!
and i love all the pictures from your Family Adventure ;)
Thanks for having stopped by. =)
Your girl is so pretty, you all must've had so much fun! =D
This is a fun idea, thank you!!
I know it's not what the post is about, but J looks really cute in purple! LOL. :)
Is it weird that horses freak me out? I tend to fear animals that are bigger than me and could bite off my fingers (even if they ARE gentle and all that crap). I don't even want to ride one if someone is leading me around.
I'm with the others who said J looks pretty in purple. She DOES!!
LOVE the link party idea!!!
Okay, so I know I am kind of dim (we'll just go ahead and blame it on my lack of sleep, okay?), there's one thing that confuses me. ARe we supposed to go back to our archives, add the button and then link up or post a new post about something that may have happened and we haven't blogged about it yet? Am I totally lame?
Are you going to be partying every Wednesday? Can I ask more questions and be MORE annoying in your comments?
@ Cecily...great questions. the answer is YES to all of them...i kid i kid..you are not lame... it can be a post from Halloween (etc) that you never made, something from your draft folder, maybe a picture that is hanging out in your camera waiting for its bloggy debut OR something from your archives is cool too...maybe something from way back when you fisrt started bloggy and didn't have a huge following...just create the post and link up...FUN!!...
