Open Letters

Dear Jordan,

You are always so willing to help out, I love that about you. So when I asked you to please get the clothes from the dryer...I meant ALL of the clothes, not just yours. BUT thank you for folding the clothes you DID take out AND putting them away. I love you for that.

Sincerely,
a really happy mama to have such a great kiddo

Dear Big Daddy,

I know your clothes are usually clean and in your drawers or closet, but as you know we got a little behind on laundry last week. So when you went looking for that tee shirt you wanted to wear and found it in the dryer, it would have been SUPER helpful for you to take out the rest of the clothes in there.

THIS:

Is not your dresser OR your closet.

BUT I do appreciate the meals you have been making around here since I got sick. You are a really good cook. I might retire.

Sincerely,
your devoted and patient wife

Dear Craig's List Guy,

When you show up on my doorstep and say, "I'm here for the dryer" and I say, "There is nothing wrong with our dryer" THAT was your first clue that you were at the wrong house so saying, "I know that's why I am here to buy it" was weird. Then when I say, "Our dryer is not for sale" THAT was your second clue that you were at the wrong house so responding by saying, "yes it is, it's on Craig's list" was even weirder. Then when I say, "nope wrong house" THAT was more than just a clue so saying, "yes I am I must have talked to your husband" just made me want to call the cops...especially when I saw you go across the street to the neighbors house after you left my house.

So I did.

Got a clue yet?

Sincerely,
Mamarazzi...don't mess with me

Haha. Mr. Craig's List Guy reminds me of after we blessed our third child and the guy at church handed me the Certificate.

"That's not how you spell our last name... there's no 'd'" I said.

He looked at me blankly. "No 'd'?"

"No 'd'."

"That's not what the computer says."

It was my turn to stare blankly. "Well.... the computer's wrong then."

He didn't looked so convinced.

Some people.

The strangest things happen to you!

Oh and steve thinks the dryer/laundry basket are his drawers so Big Daddy isn't the only one!

My husband used to only wash/dry/fold, etc his laundry. Till we moved and the laundry room is in the basement. Now he doesn't do any of it. Can't even turn the new washer on. Pathetic.

LOVE LOVE LOVE your letter to the CraigsList guy! TOO funny!
I too feel it is so annoying when my hubby just fishes what he needs out of the dryer! Come on! I don't mind folding it, I just don't always want to tbe the one to carry the basket everywhere, dangit!!!

Some people are just dense. Wouldn't a normal person think you might know if you were selling your dryer. Idiot!

I love your Open Letters! It sounds like everyone has had laundry trouble this week...

but I'll take Hubby leaving them in the dryer than dumping a full load of soaking wet clothes on the living room floor because he was worried about leaving them in the apartment complex laundry room for the 30 minutes it took to come get me *rolls eyes*.
Btw... I hope Craisglist Creep was caught!

I would have called the cops too. yikes! That's too funny that no one thinks to take ALL of the clothes out of the dryer. And how cute is your laundry room! I cannot even fathom putting a picture of mine up for display. :P

Bwahahah...about the weird Cragslist guy. Weird for sure! But funny that ya called the cops!

So, the Dryer isn't a closet or dresser? That's interesting, because that's what my whole family uses it for.

You were right to call the cops. Sounds like someone with a story trying to get inside someone's house to do I don't even want to know what...Skeeeeeery! Good thing you're so smart!

And, cute letters to the hubs and dd.

I would have called the cops too, just creepy!

My son is the king of only taking his clothes out of the dryer. Worse...he took only his clothes out of the wash and the rest sat since I thought he would take it ALL out...
