Really?!?!

Is she really in the 8th Grade? I can hardly stand it, our little girl is growing up. Here she is all primped and polished for her first day of her last year of middle school. Next year High School? I can't even think about it.
... and yes my friends that is make up...she wanted to be sure to get a pic without the glasses to show it off. She has been experimenting with make up over the Summer but has yet to go 2 days in a row wearing it, so we will see if this becomes part of her morning routine. She is rocking the side bang too...hair in her eyes all. the. time. When is that style gonna make an exit?! lol

We are so proud of our teenager and the good choices she is making for her life, this is going to be an exciting year!!

What an exciting day!! She looks cute. I can't believe you start school so early-we still have 3 weeks until we start. My oldest is starting 7th-first year in a new school and I'm not sure how I'm going to handle it. I'm right with you on the side bang style-drives me crazy!!

Awww! What a sweet girl!

I can so identify with you...our only daughter just started 8th grade, too. She also has braces, wears glasses, and totally has the side bang hanging in her eyes all the time. I guess that is the fashion right now. It's hard to believe how fast they grow up. I'm not looking forward to when she starts bringing the boys around, though, LOL! I think that may stress her Dad and I out.

My daughter is also starting 8th grade next week. It's scary to think how fast it goes by. My biggest concern is entering the world of boys. It wasn't that many years ago that I was a teenager & as a mom, I'm just not ready for that. I have no reason not to trust her, but I'm not so sure I trust all of her friends. Here's to a great year in Middle School!!!

My soon-to-be 6th grader is insistent on the side bangs too. I'm with you, they can go out of style any time now.

Jordan looks beautiful! (My oldest niece starts 9th grade next week, I'm in denial.)

So cute...and her hair looks really nice! As long as you all can stand the bangs in the eyes all the time when it's not all cute like it is in her pics. :)

Oh... I remember 8th grade! Sooo much fun! I met so many friends that year that I still have! I hope she has a great time! I hope you survive it all as well! ;)

Oh I am so with you on the side bang thing. Mine has been wearing hers like this forever it seems and her friends all keep getting similar haircuts.

SO until it's cool to wear something else. I think we are stuck with that for now.

I can't stop by with out at least one comment - lame I know, I actually read all the way down to Chicken Enchiladas! You are the best aunt EVER! Just a tip on slime (avoid all hair and carpet, never try to add kool-aid for that delicious smell - because it breaks the chemical bond and turns it to goop. LOL!) Jordan looks so grown up and gorgeous, love the first day outfit choice! Big Daddy is looking awesome! Hugs to all! Miss you!

She looks so sweet, hair in the eyes and all. But I agree, the hair-in-the-eyes drives me crazy. My son is a sophmore this year. That's weird.

Saw the pics on facebook, but I think they show up better here. She's not a little girl anymore! So pretty. And a pretty personality to match. My twins start 8th grade Tuesday. i can't believe it either!

I was wondering if i could be Jordan's penpal. (you mentioned in a post like a year ago about her having penpals). And i thought it would be fun to write back and forth to her. But i dont have your address, if i did i could write her a letter.
