Room Redo Reveal

OK Jordan's bedroom makeover is not TOTALLY finished but I wanted to share what we have done so far....you can clickety to biggefy any of the pics.

This is the OLD room
This is the NEW room
Bed BEFORE & AFTER
Canvases BEFORE & AFTER
(i used fabric and paper and decoupage, they are WAY cuter IRL)
A little paint and moving things around
more moving things around
and MORE moving things around
Jordan was NOT interested in moving furniture around, which is fine by me, the room is smallish and the layout works for her. There were lots of things she wasn't ready to part with, her horse collection for one...she is still in that limbo of wanting to be a little girl and still play and wanting to be a teenager and be cool. We are fine with her pace...
I am still wanting to do something with the dressers... for sure painting or replacing the drawer pulls and maybe decoupaging the drawer fronts in zebra (J reeeeeeeally wants this). I am going to let it sit for a little while and see if what changes I still want to make. I need to spray paint the lamp and recover the shade and add a big fluffy black throw rug for in front of her bed. I also want to do a fun and funky window treatment. All in due time.

I LOVE this room! You should paint the dresser black and do hot pink knobs. Black furniture will grow with her. I like the idea of a tulle bedskirt too...like giant tutu around her bed. So cute!

The room was cute before but is more grown up now. Man it makes me want a girl, boys just don't care about that stuff.

Very, very sweet. I just got my girly fix. I have one son, so I have never had the opportunity to decorate a pink room before. Too cute!
