As you know Big Daddy and Jordan go on a weekly daddy daughter date. They don't always take the camera along to document their adventures, since I am the family photog, but this time they did. On Saturday they went to
Applegate Park Zoo in Merced. This is a gem of a place
"Since 1962, Applegate Park Zoo has been home to many wild animals in need of a safe place to live. Currently, the zoo population numbers approximately 75 Native California mammals, birds, and reptiles, most of which came from wildlife rescue centers. No longer able to survive in their normal habitat, these ambassadors from the wild need care and protection. In return they provide zoo visitors with a glimpse of the wonders of nature". Admission is less than $2 and it is a sweet little place to just go and enjoy an afternoon.

Both Big Daddy and J look forward to this special time where just the two of them do something special...sometimes it is just a walk to the park or a trip to the local museum, but it is always a good time.

on the drive home...cuz ya know a girl needs to get her drink on!

We have one sonic in Oregon. One. They just opened it in Salem. A little far for us to go only there, so we have to come up with other reasons to go! :)
