One of the places they like to go is McHenry Museum. They like to check it out when the exhibits change. One of their favorite visits was when the cousins were here last summer and they had a Star Wars Exhibit. They haven't ever gone on a tour of the McHenry Mansion but ended up being there on a day that a fantastic tour was happening and even spent a little time hanging out in the beautiful garden there. I am glad they decided to take the camera this time.
I love that Big Daddy sets aside special time for just Jordan. They have an amazingly close relationship and I know these special dates will forever be wonderful memories for both of them. I use to go on daddy / daughter dates with my daddy...I will always cherish that special time together...so I know this is time well spent.

Okay, I love the one where they are looking at each other. That has to be my favorite. Big Daddy is an awesome daddy and father and the world needs more of them. She will always remember the bonding.. I wish I had it..
I have always thought these daddy-daughter dates are amazing, and I hope my girls will have that sort of relationship with their Dad too, even as they get to be close to the teenage years (which thankfullky are still many years away...phew!).
They do go on a daddy-daughter camping trip each summer though!

I always went on Daddy dates with my dad too. It's a little more interesting trying to get a 2 1/2 to understand why one of her sisters are going with Daddy and she's not and that she'll have a turn next week, but we still do Daddy dates in our house too. Oh, and your hubby is looking fabulous!
He is truly a good Daddy! Those are special to little girls. I was a daddy's girl and I remember my daddy/daughter time dearly. I'm sure our daughters will also.

I can't begin to tell you how important those father-daughter dates are! (not that you need anymore convincing!) My father used to take me different places when I was younger and we always made time for each other as I grew older. To this day, he is my best friend!
How very sweet! I used to love going places w/my dad as a young girl. I didn't have a girl, so Dan had to do the mom/son outings with me--LOL To this day,he LOVES to shop and he's all of 23~ I guess I taught him well. Have a good Easter week. Sue

The pictures are wonderful. I think having time with Dad helps build self esteem in young ladies. My husband is very good to take individual time with our kids. You can tell it makes them happy.
I love daddy daughter dates. My dad used to take me on daddy daughter dates too. In fact on my 30th birthday he decided that we hadn't been on a date in a long time and took me to the soda fountain that we went to when I was little. Unfortunately the soda fountain no longer exited but I loved the fact that he remembered. By the way the pictures are wonderful.
