Grandma Lynn's AWESOME Dip

1 can black beans 1 can kidney beansrinsed
6-8 roma tomatoes diced
2-3 slightly firm avacados diced
we like to cut it inside the skin then scoop it out
1-2 bunches of cilantro chopped (we like lots)
1 small bag frozen corn (no need to thaw)
1 pack taco seasoning
lime juice...we like to use a whole squeezy thing
garlic salt (of course...you know us)
mix it all up chill and enjoy
YES!! This dip is BEYOND awesome....you are going to LOVE it!!

I will have to try this dip this weekend. I was looking for a dip reciepe...thanks...sounds good.

That is such a great idea so she can be able to cook and know how to get around the kitchen.

This sounds amazing! Any dip with avacado and cilantro are good in my book :)

Yummy. When I first started reading, I swore it was going to be her Spinach dip. Growing up, I lived for wedding receptions and missionary open houses, so I could stand around the refreshment table and eat all your mom's spinach dip with torn up bread. mmmmmmmmmm. delicious. I saw Amy and Mark at Rob's 40th party. It was fun seeing them. :)

Aside from the "lots of cilantro" I am SO down with this recipe...and now, at 1:42 AM, I am starving for dip. :)

Shawn said...

I'll take anything Mexican, minus the cilantro!

This looks like a real crowd pleaser. I will try it out for my next "please bring a dish" event.

What fun teaching her to cook. I'm going back to your old posts to check out some of your recipes. 'Cause now I'm hungry...

The dip looks delish! We just might have to make that on our next Taco Tuesday!

I love that you are teaching her to cook. Then when she goes to college, she'll know how to boil water, unlike a former roommate of mine.

I love chips and homemade dip! This is a recipe that I just might have to add to my arsenal.
