I am preparing for my trip to NY and I gotta tell you, as it gets closer I am getting more and more excited! I can't wait to tell you all about it! Click the fish on my sidebar...you will thank me for it!
I am quickly approaching 100,000 visitors...dude. That is awesome...I am going to have to think of something special for the person who rounds that number out! Woot!
SITS Spring Fling is happening on March 10 and I have lined up an ADORABLE prize from an amazing Etsy shop...I am super excited about this. You. Are. Going. To. L-O-V-E. This.
Things on the home front are pretty mellow. Big Daddy has been working doubles this weekend since J is away. The house is sooooo quiet. I really should take advantage of the peace to read a book or something, but I am in an organizing kind of mode so I am going with that. I have also been doing a lot of writing lately...I am feeling introspective as we face some unforeseen hurdles as a family. I am positive we will get through it, we are a really good team and my sister Meg and brother Scotty plus both sets of our folks have all been amazingly supportive. Thanks for that guys, you have really been there for us. I am also thankful for amazing friends. You guys rock!!
I promise my next post will be about something fun...I still need to post about President's Week off of school...that was a way fun week AND I even have the pictures to prove it!

yes you should enjoy the peace and quite although I know how weird it is. When my baby was born, my mother took my older two girls for a few days and it was just the weirdest feeling...I wanted them home, hehe.

Oh you make me jealous. I had mine wrapped so purrtty then went to send it to New Zealand...for 50.00, so back to the house I went and made it not as pretty with a few lighter gifts and it was half the price. This was so much fun! Looking forward to doing it again!!!

I sent my package out Saturday--and let my swap partner know--because we were to get snow today. Woke up to 8+ inches & counting, so I'm glad I did!
aw man I SO wish I were getting a package today! I should have done the swap. Your package is so pretty! I know gift bags are more economical, but tearing into a paper-wrapped gift is so much more fun.
I have the private blog all set up, I just haven't sent out invites to everyone yet, so I'll probably keep the old one up and running for another week or so, while I do all the annoying email invite bidnezz.

I was going to shove everything in a box...but now I am going to have to wrap it all pretty.
I am such an idiot, and forgot to put a card/note in the box with all the stuff! So my poor partner might have to wait until tomorrow! It's okay, though...it's worth it right?
I sent mine out this morning! I wrapped it all with polka-dot tissue paper, but I wish I would have included some little notes like you did.
Can't wait to get mine in the mail, hope my partner likes all the stuff I sent to her as much as I do! :)
