This is my 13 year old daughter who with all her heart wants to believe that there is indeed a Santa Claus. We have had Christmas movies playing in our home non stop the last few weeks. If the movies weren't on there was Christmas music playing. This kid of mine LOVES Christmas. She loves the traditions that come with special holidays. She knows that on Christmas Eve we will gather around the table for a big dinner. Following dinner we will play games . We will roast marshmallows for S'mores and gather around the tree where she will open one present and then she will get ready for bed. Once she is all snuggly in her pajamas she will tell The Christmas Story using her super cool flannel book that we got way back when (she has been practicing since we got out the Christmas stuff). Then right before bed we will snuggle in and watch Charlie Brown Christmas (a movie she selected years ago because, "it talks about Jesus and stuff at the end") with popcorn and drink hot cocoa.Jordan has been asking, as she does every year, if we believe in Santa Claus. My answer is always the same, "Of course" and Big Daddy always says, "Yep!" too. She has been asking her friends, most say no...but the ones who whisper "Yes!" back get the secret 'we believe' high five. It. Is. So. Much. Fun. I love it. I know it is not going to last forever but deep in her heart she truly does believe and that is magical. She even wrote a letter to Santa and dropped it off at the post office to make "double sure it gets to the North Pole". Of course I scanned it...it's not a great copy but i love what it says.
You can see that Santa Clause did indeed get the letter...by going HERE !
So as you can see we are all a bunch of believers here. I hope you are too...and if you aren't you can feel free to keep it to yourself. We like sharing Christmas magic with the people who believe in it because as you know...what you pay attention to GROWS!

That letter to santa is great! a chinchilla that doesn't bite!!
Wow, I thought I was a late believer at 11, y'all must really have the Christmas spirit!
How sweet she is - I hope Santa comes through.
What a sweet letter! And the video link...I haven't seen that before. AWESOME! My son is going to love that :) Merry Christmas!!
Is she just the most precious child or what? We are all believers here. How could you not be? Merry Christmas and enjoy all of your music and movies. We're doing the same. ;o)
That is so sweet!! I think it's great that she still believes, because kids are stopping believing so early nowadays! It's sad!
We do believe around these parts too- I love the magic of Christmas and all that comes with it.
Ahh, that's so sweet!
Awww that was soooooo great! I loved the video. Of course Santa is real! Silly! :)
We Believe too!!!
That was so sweet!
I still believe.
You go girl! I heard that;)
my oldest always just wants to play santa in our christmas eve antics...that's her fav part!
So, you working on that baby sister for her yet?
William was told by a boy in Kindergarten that santa wasn't real. He came home and admitted to me that he still believes. I am still safe another year. I wish we could make it to 13 as believers. Kids grow up too fast.
We are Santa believers here and my girls still get Santa gifts and a filled stocking! It is so important to believe!
That is about the sweetest thing I've seen in a long time! And I miss you! I've been a lame blogging friend.
The letter was sweet, the link to Santa was adorable.
They grow up way too fast, I'm glad she still believes cause isn't Santa in all our hearts at this time of year?
I went for years without believing, but I do now!
I absolutely LOVE her letter! And, as far as I know, Santa Claus is REAL!
I love that she still believes. It is sad that we only get so many years of that...enjoy 'em!
So sweet! I LOVE it that she still believes - I was totally that way too! The letter is priceless. And thanks for the link to Santa's good list. I just got done checking my kids - they LOVED it!
Merry Christmas!
So Sweet. I love the Santa checking her on the computer. Cool.
We believe here too! I adore this time of year! Jordan is such a wonderful young lady! :-)
I LOVE her first wish...for a baby brother or sister. :)
What a sweet, beautiful girl!
Oh, at our house "If you don't believe, you don't receive."
Ok, this is the cutest thing I have seen in a long time. How did you get so clever? You must take after your mom. I love the Santa thing how did you get hooked up with the direct route to his desk and naughty and nice book? I think you should call your sister Amy and give her directions to let her boys take a look and see which list their names are on. Tell Jordan that I am with her on 2 things...I love to believe in Santa and a baby girl (or boy) would be great:)
mom
Soooo, will she be getting anything besides the CD?
I love it!
We still believe . . . if you don't believe in our house, the big man doesn't bring you a gift :-)
Dude is 8 and is having inklings . . . yet he really wants to believe, which I LOVE! He's written Santa a couple more letters telling him that yes, he really does believe in him and knows he's real and and and. Last night he colored a huge banner to hang by the fireplace that says "Welcome Santa! We believe in you! Enjoy your cookies!"
He also wants to make extra cookies for the elves and Mrs. Claus and give each of the reindeer extra carrots . . . he's trying to make sure he's on the good list ;-)
So yes - we believe . . . I will never tell them anything different. It's magic I tell ya!
At our house, unbelievers are nonreceivers. So here we are...a 49 year old man, a 47 year old woman with a 22 year old son and an 18 year old daughter. WE BELIEVE!
she is so sweet!! did you get my voicemail?
I hope she is able to keep believing as long as possible! I remember being about that age... maybe a year or two younger... and still wanting to believe in Santa Claus, although my younger brother had stopped believing years ago. It was the MAGIC that I wanted to keep! Sadly, my dad eventually just told me, "No, there's no Santa Claus," and I remember my heart sinking. Christmas never seemed the same, after that!
But somewhere in my heart... I think I still believe...
How sweet is that!!
Such a cute letter! I hope she gets all of her wishes!
