Photo Story Friday #19 Veggie Girl
My girl loooooves broccoli. LOVES it. I can make a pot roast with all the yummy roasted veggies and Jordan will still request broccoli. Order a pizza...broccoli please. Tacos? A little broccoli on the side please. Seriously, it is like dinner is not quite complete without it. She also loves it as an afterschool snack. Here she is with her BFF Emma enjoying pizza and their HUGE 32 oz. sodas with ice, in cups with lids and straws (the way the sweet sweet Gods of the Diet Pepsi nectar intended) AND of course BROCCOLI!!

This is how my two year old feels about hummus. She eats it with everything, veggies, hot dogs, chicken, grapes. She's a little nuts.
What's so goofy about eating broccoli with everything?

Broccoli is probably one of my favorite foods as well...I could easily eat it daily....

I eat lettuce with everything so eating broccoli with everything is ok. Good on her. Its a great vegetable. Great pics too.

too funny!! You know, there is something about a fountian Dt Pepsi with lots of ice in a 32 ounce cup! I have one all day long all thru the work week!!

Go her, but I cant stand broccoli. It's a good veggie though and My 2 year old loves it as well. I like my veggies but I like the classics. Great series of photos!

J and I would SOOOO get along! I love love love veggies - ESPECIALLY broccoli - and I always eat my veggies first - always. So does my Princess . . . but her veggie of choice is spinach - yum yum.
I love how well-rounded your precious J is and how she makes such good choices. She is definitely special and will make a huge impact during her life.
I'm just getting ready to join Facebook. I'll meet you on the playground when I do! But it's kinda sad...I was blogging when it was "cool", but now blogs are so passe and Facebook is where the action is. Anyway, I thought J was cooking pizza at first and I was getting excited about a new recipe! But the pictures are really cute-- Pizza makes me smile too!
Cute photos. It's nice to get them to eat good food, but you have to start them young.
I am currently off all things healthy, and feeling Grrrrrreat because of it, but that pizza looks SO GOOD!
32 oz? I don't even know if i COULD drink that much? Maybe if it was soda though. Doesn't it get all watery before you're done though? That is the BEST thing about sonic. I hate their food, but they have the teeny tiny crushed ice pellets and styrofoam cups so your beverage stays nice and cold and the ice doesn't melt. Plus the whole happy hour from 2-4 is a bonus.
And what a good mom you are, giving them spray butter for their broccoli to keep it healthy. I tried that with aaron, and he said "Meg, Butter is not meant to be sprayed out of a can. It's disrespectful to the product."
I countered with "well, neither is cheese, but you seem to have no problem with that one"
Speaking of mother of the year...Quincy is lying in the corner attempting to change her own diaper. I should probably go take care of that.
I seriously am impressed J likes broccoli! J just keeps amazing me! Looks like she had fun with her bff. :)

My Cade loves broccoli too, not quite that much though. I'm very lucky that he likes most all vegetables unlike his brother that doesn't like them at all.
We must have the same brain - i just turned my facebook account back on too - when I set it up a year or so ago - no one was on there. My how times have changed. I will look for you.

my kiddos totally love veggies...tonight at a bday party jk passed on more ice cream to eat veggies and dip. yep. i have all the fat...and i wonder why? i ate more ice cream!
