I am FINALLY catching up on some tags. Soooo many of these have been in my draft file half started for a while. I feel like such a bloggy loser. I enjoy when friends tag me to play blog games, so sorry I haven't gotten to these sooner!

this first one i was tagged by 100 friends...at least!(;

1. i prefer that all the labels in my fridge and pantries face forward. i won't correct it if someone puts something away "wrong" but when i first put things away after coming home from the market...everything is "faced". no i have never worked in retail...i just have a huge sense of order.
2. i don't pump my own gas...i CAN i mean i know how, i have done it maybe 5 times in my life. but i don't. my husband makes sure i always have gas in my car cuz he knows i will ask a perfect stranger to do it for me, even another woman.
3. i say "garage door closed" aloud as i pull out of the driveway. if i do not do this i will get a few blocks away and turn around to check only to find that it is closed...i have never found it left open, not once.
4. i have mentioned it before but, i like to eat my Skittles in groups of color. in this order, green, yellow, red, purple, orange. i have been asked if find others tendency to eat them in huge colorful handfuls blasphemy? yes, yes i do.
5. it is REALLY important to me that my dining table is always clear of any junk. Unfortunately it is the first stop for anyone coming into the house through the garage and ends up being a dumping ground for keys, hats, wallets and anything else my husband carries on his person on any given day. i have provided him with a few alternative spots to dump his junk but he often forgets and clutters my table anyway. I do still love him...but, dude, come on, right?
6. i am a thank you note girl. i feel HORRIBLE guilt if i do not send a handwritten thank you note for just about anything kind someone does for me. i am thankful that my daughter J has picked up this habit, she is WAY better about thank you notes than i am.
7. making and eating dinner together as a family every night is important to me. Gathering around the table and talking about the day or any other topic that comes up makes me really happy. Following dinner each night with games is the best dessert EVER! It is a tradition that I hope J and any other children we are blessed to have pass on in their families.

Seven Super Summers: her family is beautiful. I have been inspired and moved by her strength as her husband was fighting cancer. I found out that he lost his battle and passed away yesterday morning. I know there is a silent auction in the works for Becky and her seven children. I will keep you posted as i get more details.
The Kobialka Family: Trish cracks me up. She recently had her wisdom teeth pulled and she has made a painful situation very humorous, for her readers.
Blah, Blah, Blah, blog: oooooooh honey! this woman makes me laugh!! I love the way she writes and look forward to reading her daily.
*Truly Delightful In Every Way!?!*: her random posts about her 6 kids and life crack me up. She most def keeps it real. Always. I can really appreciate a chick with a 'what you see is what you get' kind of attitude. Refreshing.
Aaron and Meg's Blog: She is my little sister. Her children are adorable. I love her spunky attitude and you should go read her stuff.

My real life friend Annette from THE DICKSON FAMILY tagged me for Husband Tag:
1. Where did you meet? We met on a dating website sponsored by our church. We started out as friends and like the REO Speed Wagon song goes..."I can't fight this feeling any longer...what started out as friendship has grown stronger..." I highly recommend marrying your best friend.
2. How long did you date before you got married? 10 months...when you know, you know. We were planning on a spring wedding, but let my family talk us into getting married in Dec. since they would all be home for Christmas. It was VERY stressful, we often wish we had done it our way, especially when our anniversary rolls around 2 days after Christmas every year and we are broke!
3. How long have you been married? 25 yrs...OK not really, 3 yrs this December.
4. What is your favorite feature of his? his amazing smile and his laugh
5. What is your favorite quality of his? His generosity. He is a giver, giving makes him happy.
6. Does he have a nick name for you? He calls me Beautiful, and you know what, I totally think he means it. Cool huh?
7. What is his favorite color? Blue
8. What is his favorite food? Depends sometimes it's a perfectly cooked rib eye other times it is Sushi.
9. What is his favorite sport? He is not a sports fanatic, one of the many things I love about him.
10. When was your first kiss? It took a while. He had lost his first wife to cancer a year earlier and was still kinda dealing with that and I wasn't looking for anything serious, after a sad divorce. I remember when it happened it just felt like the right time. Very natural.
11. What is your favorite thing to do as a couple? ANY time together is a good time. We don't have to be going anywhere special or doing anything spectacular. We just love being together and laughing our butts off.
12. Do you have children? Yes an amazing 13 yr old daughter and we hope to be blessed enough to add to our family someday. We don't feel like our family is complete...yet.
13. Does he have a hidden talent? He is REALLY smart. One of the smartest people I know. I don't think the career he has chosen truly magnifies how brilliant he is. I also think sometimes people are surprised by how smart he is. I am not sure why...since he is VERY funny and funny takes brains!
14. How old is he? 34
15. Who said I love you first? I did...BUT he has written me a beautiful poem telling me he loved me and was kinda bummed that I beat him to it.
16. What is his favorite type of music? The man is a walking jukebox. Not kidding, he knows the lyrics to EVERY song EVER MADE! He says it is because when he was a small child his folks owned a tavern and his playpen was by the jukebox.
17. What do you admire most about him? He is an amazing daddy. He takes his role as a parent VERY seriously. He is always thinking of ways he can do it better!
18. Do you think he will read this? Yep, he loves reading this blog.
