All About the SITStahood

My name is Mamarazzi and I am a comment junkie. I am no longer ashamed to admit this because I found a support group for my addiction to comments. It is a support group that I really feel I can get behind because it SUPPORTS my addiction to comments. Oh Heavenly Day!

When I first started blogging a few years ago I did it for two things. First to journal about my family, ya know have a place to brag about my adorable kid and super amazingly wonderful husband. And Secondly to keep in touch with far away family...more bragging. As soon as I started blog hopping and reading about other peoples lives I was hooked. I had just moved to a town about 2 hrs from "home base" (a 50 mile radius cluster of towns I had lived in most of my life). I may as well have moved to Mars. I was not connecting with people like I had hoped I would. I was really trying but it was like I spoke a different language and I just could not relate on any kind of level with the people from church, our neighbors or even people I met through J's school. It was a really hard time for me (and caused some depression) never in my life had I felt so alone. Blogging connected to me to people who spoke my language and made me feel less and less like I was on this bizarre island with only my husband and daughter as life support. And while I still struggle to find my place in this strange town, I at least feel connected to people...through blogging.

THEN I learned about SITS (Secret Is in The Sauce) through one of my favorite bloggy friends Cecily. Cecily is awesome. I like Cecily. She told me I should play and join the SITStahood. I did. I am easy like that. She was right.

Once I joined in the fun I found myself hopping all over the blogsphere linking up with some really fun people. I take my blogging seriously. I am picky about the bloggy company I keep. I am loving all of my new bloggy friends. I am still pretty new to the SITStahood, but I am loving it! You really need to go and check it all out for yourself...such a fun blogging community. First Cecily from My Chaos My Bliss I BIG red puffy heart Cecily. I love her humor, I love the way she writes and I love that she is able to find the joy in motherhood...even in the form of yellow food coloring, grass stains and muddy messes. I have not only enjoyed reading her blog but I have also enjoyed getting to know her on a deeper level. Thanks for the friendship Cecily, you rock like that! Cecily is also a co-creater of another bloggy community I play in EVERY Friday PhotoStoryFriday.

One Crafty Mama she is one of the few bloggy friends that I know who has daughters around the same age and my daughter. A lot of my closest bloggy friends have younger children and while I love reading about the cuteness that is the formative years, I also love being able to read about and relate to the tween and teen years. I am so glad she found me..woo hoo!

I'm Being Held Hostage a friend from the other side of the pond. She is a crack up and her blog is filled with good stuff. She use to read my blog all the time under a different name but I scared her off (just kidding, she will get it, you don't have to). I am super glad that she is reading again and that I didn't even have to bribe her with anything.

Angie from SevEn cLoWn CirCus is one of those people who fast becomes a friend. I have really enjoyed her blog but I have also enjoyed the emails back and forth and the friendship that is forming very quickly. Angie also hosts a bloggy community I play in called WordFUL Wednesday. She also won Mamarazzi's Box Of Goodness and I am just waiting for word that she is all settled into her new digs and can accept mail.

AVT Coach is all about Abundance and making the time and room in your life to help welcome and recognize that abundance. She has a bunch of bloggy goodness to share and I am loving playing with her not only through SITS but also through Photo Story Friday and WordFUL Wednesday .

The bottom line here is that if you are a comment junkie like I am (admit it, there is not shame, you are not alone) come join the SITStahood ...there are plenty of REALLY fun people waiting to come by and say hello and support your need for the L-O-V-E!
