It was a quiet day around here. My chores are done (thanks for helping with the laundry Big Daddy). My kid is gone for the weekend and my husband works nights and sleeps during the day. What is a girl to do? I guess i could pack up the pool toys and be sad that summer is over. But nope, I turned into veggie dip and watched movies on the Hallmark Movie Network...all movies all day in my pajamas (good thing no one ever pops in! ) Yep, it was almost like a vacation.... ALMOST!

OK i am ready to face another week now...is it Monday yet? oh and this video amuses me greatly...because i am easily amused.

I'm sure you will get better ieas than this but i would love to read a post abount the games you play together and the simple fun things you do as family that bring you closer together. I think you are great at this I love the close feeling I get from you guys.

I had a day like that last Saturday. It was great! A day of chick flix and no sports! As for any suggestions, I've got nothing. Sorry, but early congratulations!

Yes, I think we all need "mental health days". I haven't had one in a while, come to think of it.
As for your 300th post, I saw one that was really fun. It was a letter to your younger self. Give youself useful advice in hindsight, like don't break your heart over that guy who dumped you, he's still working at Burger King and lives with his parents. Don't feel bad that you didn't do whatever - it wasn't that fun anyway. That Algebra class was totally useless. Skip it and go for coffee with your friends, etc. Could be really funny.
