You. Are. Welcome.

Also a note to all of my bloggy friends. I have some thoughts on those play list thingys. While i have been known to click play on many a friends player i am perplexed as to why some people make it so that their player automatically starts as soon as i come to visit. What's up with that? Often times while i am blogging i am listening to my own choice music or watching TV and well...to be honest i feel like play lists on auto play are kinda like disrespecting my audio space. ya know? does anyone else feel that way? gotta do a quick poll...it's over there on my sidebar. (i hope i didn't offend anyone...i cannot be alone on this, right?)

***dude if you are here viewing this then blogger fixed the horrible problem they were having earlier with custom domains. my blog address was being redirected to a google search page. scared the crap outta me. i am not even sure if the problem is fixed yet but the whole thought if possibly losing my beloved blog put me into full panic mode. i am going to save it somehow, any ideas on how to do that??***

I can imagine your panic. Mr. Linky disappeared on my post once and I almost had a panic attack. And that was just Mr. Linky! :)

I HATE auto play on playlists. Mainly b/c I check blogs late at night or early in the morning in QUIET. When music turns on, it startles me and wakes up my kids. I COULD turn my volume down, but I've never remembered yet.

I voted. I agree with you.

My sweet husband copies my blog on to a disc every 9 nonths or so. He does this to all our camcorder movies and all the pictures I take. He files them away. Just think of all the crap our kids will have to sort when we die.NOt that my blog picutres and home movies are crap. To me they are priceless. I just save alot of stuff

Also blurb.com makes great books out of your blog.

How funny - Steven's Emily just posted about the same thing (the play list thingys)! And I personally thought they were cool for a few seconds...until I had to keep hitting stop before the page loaded so I didn't have to hear the same song over and over again.

I don't like going to a blog and having the music come on. I'm like Angie. I look at blogs when my kid is asleep, and my volume is ALWAYS up. And it makes me jump!

I'm not a fan.

So I voted in the poll..and yes, thanks for posting that!

P.S. Is this your "300th" post? Since the one before wasn't!?! :0)

Aww Dang! I like to have my playlist greet me when I open up! I usually enjoy hearing other peoples as I read blogs too. But sometimes it does blast me when the kids have had the volume turned up high.

I slurped by blog at Blurb for my blogiversary. I'm still editing, but it should end up costing about $100 for 200 pages. I also send every single blog post to an email that I have specifically for that.

also, sometimes I like to choose a specific song to go along with a post, to further enhance the experience.

After being startled a couple times by the music players that autoplay I learned to despise them. :)

When I'm blogging it's my down time. It's not fun when someone else's music plays over what's playing on my itunes and I have to put computer on mute.

To me it's the equivalent of having someone else choose what shows my Tivo records.

But to each his own. :)

mine is on auto, when I get to people's blog and do not want to listen to their music, I just turn my speakers off. it's not as ANNOYING as word verification/ to me.

I'm with ya on the whole music player thing. Sometimes they scare the crap outta me. Othertimes, I'd just like to NOT have to search to find it so I can put it on pause in order to hear their video they uploaded.
