this is the one who used "sugar lips" to get EXACTLY what she wanted. "Would you mind making us a picnic lunch to enjoy outside in the shade...please?" How could i say no to that?

How sweet! When I was little my mother used to make me picnic lunches all the time. I would sit out by my sandbox and make up stories... My daughter has always hated the outside. She acts like grass is just icky...
Who can say no to a picnic? My kids do that to me once in a while too. :)

I agree with you. When the kids are polite and nice and smile at you and all of sudden you love them more than ever. Sugar does get them places it's true. Right now I have to remember those sweet moments with teenagers who never seem to be home anymore. ;)
