we have reservations for a Japanese Steakhouse that cooks teppanyaki style (at your table). So it's like a show and dinner all in one...very fun! I think the girls will LOVE IT!
Then the limo will bring us home for a night swim and slumber party goodness. I am sure the girls will be up all night giggling their little butts off...i can hardly wait!!I put together super cute gift buckets for the girls that include pajama's that i got on clearance a few months ago for $5 AWESOME (they are all the same style just different pastel colors in pink, lavender, blue and green), manicure kit, candy, gum, sleep eye mask, toe separators, lip gloss, cute socks, and a horse pencil. i want to add a bottle of nail polish to each to...hmmm and something else. any ideas?
pretty cute huh?! We decided that this would be the last REALLY special birthday before her Super Sweet Sixteen bash...and we already are saving $ for that one...tee hee! I think J is going to love all the little surprises...it has been hard to keep quiet about it and FUN to watch Big Daddy plan and get excited about all the girly goodness (he totally gets Daddy of the year)! so that's what is in the works for us right now.
Jordan turns 13 on August 30 and Big Daddy has a birthday on August 31...he and i will probably do something low key for his big day. We typically save all of our celebrating budget for the kiddo. Isn't that the way life goes?

Girl, you are up late!
Jordan is going to LOVE that! What girl wouldn't?!? You guys are such awesome parents.
I wish I had a wedding or something to go to up there so we could hang out! I'll find an excuse some day!
How fun! Love the party plans! Can I be your daughter? The girls will absolutely LOvE the dinner! I was about 12 when a YW leader took us to BeniHana and I've never forgotten how cool it was! You could burn them each a CD of cool music for their prize buckets.
Wow! You are a great party planner! I may have to contact you to help me plan my baby's 16th birthday. It will be next March. I can't really believe she'll be 16.
DAAAANG!!! you should be a PARTAY PLANNER!!!!
Jacob's 6th birthday is next month...you have any Brilliant Ideas???
Wow, you are so creative! I would never be able to pull something that cool off. We love Japanese steak houses. They are so fun! I can't really think of anything else to add to the bucket except maybe a little stuffed animal. You can get those real little ones at Target or Walmart. I can't wait to hear all about the party.
That sounds AWESOME! 13 . . . wow. I don't even want to think about it . . . we've still got 7 1/2 years to go :-) But knowing my girly girl, she would love to have a party just like this!
You need to package it and sell it :-)
you are super cute!! and such a cool mom!
you are super cute!! and such a cool mom!
Wow, that looks like SO much fun for the girls! I hope they enjoy every bit of it... and I'm sure they will! Makes me want to be 13 again, haha. I love the gift buckets you put together. So neat.
WOW...you know how to throw a girl a party! Can I come?
you need to rent a super silly girl power movie from when you were a teenager for the sleepover...like troop beverly hills or girls just wanna have fun....something. She's probably too young for sixteen candles. I think I saw clueless for my 14th birthday.
SO FUN! Tell J i wish I were there to steal some jammies from her closet!
Wait, I haven't received MY invite yet. Hmmm...
Hey I just sent you an email.
Jordan is going to love her party. She is a very lucky girl, you and Paul have put much thought and effort into the event.
The only thing I can think of to add to the gift buckets are maybe some cute hair elastics or clips.
I soooooo want ot be your kid, or at least friends with your kid! Can I hire you to party/event plan for me!!!!
How fun! You are such a cool mom!!!
& I love Jordan's new short hair du
How fun! I'll bet Jordan really LOVES this party. Looks really fun. I don't remember ever doing fun stuff like this for my birthday parties. Be sure and take lots of pictures so she can savor the memories.
Planning parties is so much fun! This is going to be a party she will never forget! I'm excited for you.
How about throwing a party for me...this exact one in a few months for MY birthday!...I would have LOVED a party like this when I turned 13...
are you going to watch the movie 13 going on 30? That would be sweet too! :)
Lucky girl...have loved catching up on your blog!
Teppanyaki ymm that is so fun! She is in for a surprise. . . a limo, Wow! I love the spa stuff.
Awww...that sounds like so much fun! My birthday is in another few weeks...will you be MY mommy? LOL
That is one serious blowout party. J is freakin' lucky. I think mom and dad just got me a beach towel for my thirteenth. Oh and a Tiara.
