yesterday was the memorial for
Great Grandma Georgia. she passed away very suddenly the end of last month. i am really thankful that the family decided to wait and have her memorial, the number of people who attended was wonderful. the church was full and extra chairs needed to be brought in. Georgia touched the lives of many. she had a great sense of humor and a fantastic laugh. Jordan read a poem that she wrote for Georgia at the memorial, we were super impressed with how comfortable she was speaking
in front of so many people; she did a great job! i thought i would share her poem here, it is not only a beautiful tribute to a woman we love so much but it is also an amazing view into the heart of our wonderful little girl.
i love how she misspelled angel, and drew heart lips for Georgia...sooooo cute! Paul's folks gave Jordan her Great Grandma's candy dish, it holds very special meaning to her and she has already found the perfect spot for it in her room.
here is Jordan in Great Grandma Georgia's front yard
Georgia has an amazing garden
this is Tyler Jordan's second cousin she was in baby heaven, so were we. Tyler is ADORABLE and a really happy easygoing baby. We want one or two or three please!

it was a beautiful day it was nice to see and meet so many people who loved Georgia as much as we do.

It's so special that they gave J her candy dish! I loved her poem. Very cool that she is comfortable speaking in front of a group - Sade is totally shy about that.
Wished on a falling star for you the other night!
Wow what a sweet poem. It brought tears to my eyes.
From the pics Georgia's garden does look amazing. I hope she gets to plant gardens in heaven that I will one day get to enjoy.
what a sweet poem- and how sweet they gave her that dish. I'm glad that it was a good day- at least as good as it can be considering the circumstances.
what a sweet poem, and special keepsake! cute girl! love that she was brave enough to share her thoughts.
CUTE BABY! who wouldn't want a nice cute baby like that? i do.
You have a sweet girl! The photos of Jordan are beautiful & that baby is darling. i hope you get a few little ones.

What a sweet little poem. And I am once again just blown away by the wonderful young lady your Jordan is growing up to be.
I can't think of a better tribute. Grandparents are so important. How wonderful that Jordan was old enough to rememeber and enjoy her Great Grandma and how comforting to know she is in heaven watching over all of you.
Oh, what a sweet poem! I love that she was able to get to know her great grandma. My kids won't even know their grandma (my mom). Anyways. I love the pics of Jordan with Tyler and I'm praying you get a little baby of your own soon! (((((HUGS)))))
Oh and I'm not just saying that! You LITERALLY are in my prayers! :)
That is a beautiful poem. Jordan has such a special and caring heart. I am so sorry that you had to loose someone so special.
I couldn't even read the poem because I know I'd start crying & having runny make up at work isn't pretty. What a great post, it made me think of and miss my grandma, whom we lost last year.
I'm so sorry for your loss. Jordan's poem was great, and I'm super impressed that she could not only write it, but get up in front of all those people to read it.
I am so sorry for your loss. She sounds like a wonderful lady who was full of life. Jordan's poem is beautiful!!
What a beautiful poem - and the picture is darling. So sorry about Georgia, but it sounds like it was a lovely memorial with many people around that loved her!
Nice to see you today - take care - Kellan
That was a very touching poem. Jordan is so sweet (you must be doing something right, momma). I'm sorry about your loss, but it must comfort you to know that she was loved by so many.
Wow you daughter has a knack for words doesn't she? So descriptive!
I love those pictures of her...so pretty!
It's hard to lose anyone we love our are close too...but it is also good to know what we know...and find comfort in the fact that she is happy and you will see her again! We are so blessed!
how touching that they gave her the candy dish! That was very sweet!
What a great poem and a wonderful girl you have there. She will cherish that candy dish forever . . . what a wonderful gift.
