GOOD Friend Fun!

Jordan leaves for a week of Girl's Camp on Monday. We are frantically trying to get everything ready for her in order to totally maximize the fun to be had! Tonight we had her really good friend Sammy over to decorate hats and sneakers for their fun week. Jordan and Sammy will be sharing a tent at Girl's Camp and they have been totally hooked up thanks to Grandma and Grandpa Machado (Paul's folks). They have a really great tent and super cool cots to use. Paul and i will be driving them over to the Santa Cruz mountains and setting them all up. J is super excited to be sharing a "pimped out" tent with her friend. The theme for Girl's Camp is "Spiritual Giants". Jordan's group is "The Giant Sunflowers" so J and i made some super cute sunflower headbands for the 14 girls in her group.

Goofy AND Creative...oh and adorable!

Sammy creating puzzle piece pattern...CUTE! Jordan following Sammy's leadJ carefully studying Sammy's design
she is soooo beautiful!
the girl's hats and shoes...WAY TOO CUTE!
The Sunflower Headbands J and I made, fun!

Jordan had a great time with Sammy tonight and i am so thankful for the girls in her life who are good friends to her. Both of the girls are REALLY excited about camp and are super stoked about their set up for the week AND all of the cool extras we picked up for fun fun FUN! I know Jordan is going to have a great time, i can't wait to see all of the pictures she takes...i am sending her with 2 cameras, i am sure she will make this Mamarazzi proud!

I hope Jordan has a great time. Camping for me is a lot like McDonalds for you. The only difference is, I have actually tried it. I know lots of people love it, though. :)

Those shoes turned out really cute and I may have to steal that headband idea since I live in the Sunflower State.

Oh HOW FUN!! I LOVE Girls Camp! and in the Santa Cruz Mountains, now I'm jealous!! Love it there!!! :) I love that you all made hats and shoes and headbands together. They are all so cute and how nice of you guys to make headbands for all the girls! They'll love them. I remember doing that sort of thing for girl's camp. We also would put our hair in tons of small braids so we wouldn't have to worry about it while there and wear different hats and bandanas we had decorated. Oh and Jordan and Sammy get a tent to themselves. My my, they are lucky. I remember being stuffed in like sardines until I was a bit older and went as a Junior Leader. Then my BFF and I got our own tent and it was AWESOME! It was a 6 man/2 room tent and we got it all to ourselves! Have fun Jordan! I can't wait to see ALL the fun pictures you take :)

I had to giggle while reading this. It is so my mom. Wouldn't you agree. I love every second of it. You are darling. Jordan is a beautiful girl. She has really nice hair, she is lucky. I love that you are sending 2 cameras like one isn't enough. They make memory sticks that hold ALOT of pictures. But I guess one always needs a back up. To cute. I really miss girls camp. No maybe it is the innocense of youth that I miss. The care free not a care in the world, have fun, don't worry, no huge pressing responsibility that I miss. Yeah that's it. Sorry to ramble. She'll have a great time. Is this her first time going?
