first stop....super slide!!
next stop rock climbing wall. Jordan has lots of experience in climbing at my brother's gym...BUT it has always been our suspicion that Grandpa Hal does WAY more work than she does, actually PULLING her up the wall...so we were REALLY cheering her on encouraging her to finish after she dropped the first time up the wall without much effort...so ignore my lame yelling...it is soooooo embarrassing, i seriously need to shut up while recording.
PS. i do feel blessed to live here. i know this is where we need to be for Jordan, i am grateful my in laws are renting us this lovely home to live in and i am super thankful for the changes they are making to it as we do live here to make it even better (did you see my new floors? YAY!). i hope you know i am just being silly when i complain...only because honestly it is VERY different from ANYWHERE i have EVER lived before....but i am trying to make a home out of it while we are here.

How fun to spend the weekend with your awesome In-Laws! The street fair looks like it was super fun! I love to people watch too - especially with someone as mean as me! (Best when you can say what you're thinking with just a look! Heehee!) Jordan ROCKS! (pun completely intended!)
It sounds like you have great in laws.
BTW-Love Jordan salt water sandals.
I totally know what you mean - I had a really hard time when I moved from 'home' to here when Dave and I got married. But his education is so important that I sucked it up and moved the 12 hours out here! It's ended up being one the greatest blessings. However, you'd better believe that we are headed home when this is all done!
Moving is hard. I'm glad you have such great family around you though and your house is fantastic.
The street fair looks like so much fun. I love people watching too, but I get really snarky sometimes...it's better to keep some of my comments to myself. :)
Looks like a fun time at the fair, loving the warm weather and sunshine.
I LOVE fairs etc. I am so excited this year because Lyndsy is 3 and will enjoy some of the activities. Plus, I'm with you on the people watching. It's like an addiction.
What a great weekend - how fun!!! Cute pictures!!
Have a good weekend - Kellan
whoohoo fun times. crowds of people are interesting any time. looked like TON'S o' FUN!
looks like a fun day!!
:) Cool! It's so awesome to get along and enjoy your in-laws.
I looked at the last picture first without reading the decription and I thought they were staring at a HUGE sandal.
You know you're in the right place when family is there for you...I am very happy to see you experiencing such goodness *wink*
*huggies*
Cute blog! I don't know how I found you, but I linked from a link from a link from a blog I read. Isn't that the best? You can check my blog for my email if you want it.
I love the idea of the Thursday Thirteen for sure. That seems to be the day I have the least to post about!
family fun is the best!
Hey - thanks for the visit this evening. And ... your comment - WOW!! It brought tears to my eyes - I couldn't have said it better - EXCELLENT!!
Have a good weekend, my bloggy friend!!
Take care - Kellan
Looks like you had a lot of fun!
Your pool looks Heavenly. I'll be over a week from tomorrow, kay? LOL
I wanna play with the remote control boat!! Oh and your yelling on the video is not near as bad as all the yelling I usually do on our videos. I'm an embarrassment. Truly I am. It looks like you had a wonderful time. GO JORDAN! She did great on that climbing wall :)
Moving is hard, isn't it?? The summer after we moved here from Santa Cruz, I made hubby put the house on the market-I wanted to go home. Apparently God had other plans. While all the other homes around us sold, our buyers loans wouldn't go through. We stayed, and I am so happy we did. It took a LOT of time.
Jordan rocks the wall! She is so cute!!
If we can't laugh at ourselves, who will? My hometown is full of some major rednecks, but I love it anyway. My parents still live there.
The smoothies look yummy.
