Jordan is HOME!!! YAY! we spent a quiet evening listening to her go on and on about all of the fun she had, at 6th Grade Outdoor Education Camp, this week. we had a super good dinner that she wanted to make for us. i had already bought a rotisserie chicken and some asparagus for a easy dinner...so she lucked out. she hunted up her frogs and they came right out to welcome her home, her YW adviser Sister B. came by to visit and Jordan was eager to show her her skills. i swear this little girl is the frog whisperer, they came right out! she answered phone calls from grandparents and aunts and took a loooooooong HOT shower (she was so excited that she got more than the 3 minutes, she was allowed at camp). right now she is in her game room since her plan is to "veg out in front of the TV for a little while". at dinner she said, "it's good to be home, but camp was a blast".
late last night i spent a little time making myself
feel better by decorating J's room
with streamers and balloons.
some yellow balloons and added those too!
she was not thrilled about having her picture
taken with her hair "not cute". obviously her personal
hairstylist was not with her this morning.
she was pretty excited about taking a long shower and getting to watch a little TV.
bonus...a little goofy video of Jordan walking in
and seeing her room decorated. i know i sound
ridiculous...ignore that AND the concrete floor
in our hallway... she also said she was waiting for
flash not realizing i was taking video and hoped
"I didn't look like a dork standing there smiling"
isn't she the coolest?!?

Great poster and streamers!!!
I love her room! Sade would go nuts over it. She chose lavendar paint. Mom's just got to get her act together. Now, did you do those great paintings over her bed or did you buy those somewhere. I need a close up of those so that I can copy them!
Jordan is a doll! She must feel so loved when you do all that amazing stuff for her!
Great welcome home for Jordan! That is so cute!! Glad she is home now.
Your daughter is very lucky to have such a great mom. Did you write the letters on the poster? That is some imporessive handwriting. Mine would have been chicken scratch. I do love the streamer colors. I am so glad she is home and back to making some yummy dinners!
How tall IS that girl?! She's so cute. MA would NOT like that room. Too much pink for her, but Diva would be all over it. In fact, this summer I'm moving MA into the nursery and Peanut in with Diva. Diva's already requested the walls be repainted from blue to pink.
Great job on the room! I am sure this made her homecoming even nicer!
She is TOO precious!
YAY!!! I am sooo excitied for you.. It must be the best feeling to have your little girl home..
I love, love, love what you did to her room, it's so cute!!! And soo welcoming.. I bet she loved it..
Enjoy your weekend together!! :)
I don't think that my Mom has ever been that excited to see me.
Welcome Home Jordan!!
Welcome home Jordan. Your mom soooo loves you.
It is hard not to be obsessed over our children, they are our world, our everything. We want so much for our kids, I know I have to remind myself not to leave my husband out of the obsession loop sometimes, even though I dearly love him.
Great idea. And cute!
Welcome home Jordan!
Such a nice welcome home for your sweet girl. I'm glad she had a good time and is home safely!! Have a good weekend - Kellan
Hooray, she's home! And congrats to mom for toughing it out :) !!
I am glad she is home and that you survived the week...I am also sorry that some people were rude to you...ignore the ignorant!! You are an awesome mom and don't ever forget it.

You survived!!! (and I'm not talking about Jordan...I had complete faith in her, lol)
And the decorating of her room is freaking adorable!
What a fun room!
And what a great mom . . . she's a lucky lucky girl!
I love the saying "They may not remember what you said, but they will always remember how you made them feel."
Jordan will definitely have wonderful memories :-)
What a wonderful mom you are! Doing all that for her, that is so awesome! Welcome home! I'm sure she was glad to be back.
