Dear Girl who should NOT be cutting hair,
I want to thank you for taking a half hearted look at the picture i gave you for the style i wanted and then giving me a TOTALLY different, and not at all cute, hair cut. I realize that you use scissors to do your job and not a magic wand. This is why the picture i gave you was of ME with a haircut that i liked, not a picture of some Victoria Secret Super Model...the hair that i truly covet.
Even though Rachel's haircut on Friends was like super cute in 1995, and i truly wanted it i knew it was not a good look for me, so i never asked for it. So i am wondering, since i did not ask for The Rachel Cut and it is no longer 1995 why on earth did you cut my hair like this?
I am not happy, it WILL take more than a week to get use to it....and this is not helping my self esteem in the slightest!

I'm sure you still look cute....but I feel your pain about being disappointed. It is a let down when we want a new hair cut and come home with something else....sorry!
I'm terrified of hair dressers. For the longest time my hair went half way down my back partly due to the fact that I was too afraid to let anyone touch it!
Oh, I'm sure you're totally adorable. But I hear you on the frustration about the stylist not really paying attention to what you asked for. That bugs me so much. Are you going to post pics of the new do?
There is nothing worse than a bad haircut! I went almost a year without a haircut after we moved in fear of just that. I am sure you still look great and if not I know your cute bubbly personality will make people overlook a bad do!
It is so hard to find a good hairdresser! Don't you just want to ring their neck sometimes? Like now! At least it will grow back. Sorry you have to deal with it though!
bummer! you could always go super short! trust me it is CUTE! and i totally wanna see some pictures! front ,back and profile. and i had the RACHEL hair back in the day. it was totally foxy! I'm sure you look fabulous! it just wasn't what you were dreaming of. hate when that happens!

AUUUUUUUUGHH I hate bad haircuts. Almost as much as I hate the Rachel cut. A lady gave it to me when it was in style but it was an awful style for me then. She kept saying, "You like Lacho? You want Lacho?" and I had no idea what she was saying.
So I got Lacho. :(
I doubt you are any less cute, but bad haircuts are miserable. Pull it back and wear extra lipgloss. :)

OH NO! That is awful!! We can wallow in our bad hair cut experience together! Mine was SO long and I just wanted it trimmed with some layers (few layers) for volume and style, and I came home with a mullet! Seriously! I got it cut again 3 weeks ago really short to try and start all over again. I'm so sorry. I can totally feel your pain! Even with a bad haircut, I'm positive you are still cute as ever!

Several years ago, I was at happy hour and decided that I had to have the Rachel do. I went to a place in the mall (only hair place open at that hour)...haircut was a disaster!!!! I feel your pain!!!

I received a bad haircut last year. I went back & had her try again. That was totally going out on a limb for me. There was no way I was going to pay $40.00 plus a fat tip for a crappy cut. I loved it the second time around & I am just glad I had more hair for her to cut:). Hang in there!
Oh dear...this is never a good thing. We always feel so unattractvie when this happens, don't we. Hang in there. The nice thing about hair is that it grows! My SIL cuts my hair and she has not been doing a great job lately. Last time my hair looked like a doll with a hair cut...know what I mean? So, I just keep growing it and it's getting super bushy and really long but I refuse to let her touch it. I need to go somewhere else.
Anyway, sorry you had this experience. Hope it looks better soon!
That is so funny. And since I cut hair for a living I am going to need to see the picture that you showed her and what it turned out like. ASAP! Even if I didn't do hair I would still want to see them!! :) Sorry, but I think that it is neccesary.
