Cooking with Jordan! episode 4 Teriyaki Chicken

Time for another episode of Cooking with Jordan. You can view earlier episodes by clicking on these links Preview, OneDishMexican, GrilledChicken, Cooking(?) with Daddy and TortelliniSoup. The whole point to the cooking lessons for J is to show her some basic easy meals of some of her favorite things and get her comfortable in the kitchen...this is not anything totally gourmet or culinary school worthy.

On the menu tonight, Teriyaki Chicken and Broccoli Rice Bowls. This is one of Jordan's favorites. We chose steam our BROWN rice in our little handy dandy steamer, grilled the chicken marinated in Yoshida's Gourmet Sauce (boneless skinless thighs are best for this recipe) on the George Foreman Grill (have y'all figured out that i big red puffy heart kitchen gadgets that make my life easier?) and microwaved our frozen broccoli cuts....yep an easy and yummy meal...

PS some of you have asked about the name change to our blog...read the sticky at the top. i have already switched to Mamarazzi when i comment...BUT that is not the name we chose. HINT: we DID pick from the Top 5 ...stay tuned for the big reveal...drawings and other prizes coming hopefully SOON!

Sounds good! I need to try this one. I think it will be a hit. I like the idea of the boneless skinless chicken thigh.

I love that you call her a peach...one of my favorite pet names for my kids!!

I also love your new Blogger name!!! I knew the minute I saw it that it was YOU (without even seeing the profile pic)!!!!

When I saw your name on my comment section, I didn't know who you were until you started talking about J! HAHA! I have a question about this meal. Is it just steamed rice, steamed broccoli, and chicken? That is my kind of meal, but I don't think the kids would like it too much. Yay for J for eating so healthy!

So what games do you play after supper? We have something going most nights, be it Bible study at our house, or sports games or practices. Since we homeschool, we try to make sure the kids get to do plenty of outside activities, and with three doing stuff, you can imagine that we're busy!

These meals are easy enough for even me! :) Yummy!

And yes, I did know that rats are rodents...bet you didn't know that they are cleaner than a cat, and clean themselves like a cat, did ya? And she is sweet and fun and adorable.

I know, I know, I probably will never change your mind. But if you ever come to my house we will show you just how sweet she is. ;)

I can't wait for the big reveal either!

Good luck with the new design. New revils are always super fun!

You probably already have someone working on your design but just incase you don't...the lady who did mine did it in less then a week!
