Preview...lucky you!
Jordan decided to set some goals for her Personal Progress. One of the goals she set was learning new skills to help her get ready to "be a great mom someday". She asked ME for help (thank you, thank you). This week, since it is Spring Break, she decided she wanted me to teach her how to cook. Jordan created a menu from items we had in our pantry and freezer (score!) and also some of her favorite meals. She plans on making dinner every night this week, i am excited to teach her...since she is so enthusiastic about learning. Tonight was her second YUMMY meal. I plan on blogging about ALL of the meals once her week of "cooking classes" is done, but she is soooo stinking cute that i HAD post a little sneak peek for you. You. Are. Welcome.

That is just stinkin' cute!!! I LOVE IT!!!! You are just too fun! Tell her I'm hungry and she can come cook for me! :) I love how cute it was when she said she's a really good baker. PRICELESS!
That is so lovely!
what a gift she is. Bless you guys at Easter.
awesome! NOW YOU CAN LET HER DO ALL THE COOKING! RAD! love the baker comment too. does she make brownies from a box? that is what my kids make. fabulous! it helps me keep my luscious curves!
I love the confidence that kids have! I'm a fabulous baker too, as anyone can tell by looking at me! It's great that she's so excited about PP! What a darling girl!
That is too cute! I love that she is working hard to learn these skills. How awesome. Too many kids today only want their video games. You are a great mommy with a great daughter!
by the way- if you figure out when soon is, let me know....I have a hallway we torn wallpaper off of when Ashlyn was 1---she just turned 4 and it is still not painted. ;)
Happy Easter to you and your family!
That is GREAT! Good Luck! IS learning to cook with a parent as challenging as learning how to drive?!?!?!? Hope not!!! Have lots of fun this week.
Soon is when you are about to sell your house, and things need to get done so it can look good so that someone can buy it.
How awesome that she is cooking! I can't wait to have slaves, I mean, when my kids want to help. Good for her getting her personal progress done!
What a cutie! Hopefully she loves cooking so much that she'll take it over completely...or is that just my own fantasy of my girls?
Yup, she's stinkin' cute! It's so cool to hear the voices of people whose pix we see all the time. Have fun cooking this week.
very cute...my daughter loves to cook also!!
What a wonderful project! My mom refused to share a kitchen with me after what we refer to as the soupy stuffing incident.
I am glad you are teaching her the finer points of microwave cooking. We do our veggies like that every night. I was a little bummed out, I didn't catch the Brady Bunch floor
I bet she's already a better cook than me. I love that you are so happy to be a mom that you document all this stuff. What a fabulous example you are!!
So cute! Can she come cook for us for a bit? ;-) Oh...and "soon" is a long, long, very long time. Especially when spoken by a man. Sorry.
That is so great! Awesome that she is taking such an interest.
And I don't know how long soon is yet, I have had plywood floors for quite some time now and a missing wall. If you find out, drop me a line and let me know.
How sweet is she? Seriously. Can you send some of her 12-year-old sweetness my way in about 8 years, please???
as always she is to cute!!! Too bad we live so far away from each other!
It is so fabulous when our "little" ones look to us for guidance and inspiration :) !! Enjoy it!
I hope you get your floor in '08, Holleeann!! And Jordan is such the little domestic goddess, huh?? She can come cook for me any day!
awww...that was a precious little video!
