Easter

We were able to spend Easter with both sides of our families this year. first we went over the hill to see my peeps and enjoyed a super fun egg hunt, an Easter craft and a delicious lunch. we also celebrated Amy's birthday and mine (woo hoo cake and presents!)....lots of fun! here are some pics...

my folks and Jordan
Jordan with the eggs she hunted
Taylor Grandma Lynn and Jordan
Tyler with the $6 he found in his eggs (Brock eating candy)
Brock going through the eggs he hunted
Zachary and Parker...telling me all about WebKins
Taylor and Jordan frosting the bunny cake
the smelly little nose pickers decorating it (i did not eat any...ew!)
Grandpa Hal getting in on the untouched candy
Garrett...mmm canned frosting!
an Easter craft, beach bags made from duct tape and garbage bags (directions HERE , easy, cute, cheap!)
the directions say it takes 2-3 hours the girls were done in less than an hour
After all this fun we jumped in the car and headed to the Bay to see Paul's peeps. we had a lovely, delicious dinner there and slept over for a fun day in San Francisco on Monday...more on that later (with pics...i know you are excited)!

What a fun time with your family! It's so great that your Spring break coincides with Easter. Ours is always hit or miss (usually over St. Patty's day). Someone is ambitious to do all those fun crafty things with the kids...

I've never got money in any of my eggs. Maybe I'm not as good as your kids. It sounds like you had a busy weekend but with many smiles.

Sounds like fun! I cracked up over the snotty little nose picker comment. As a teacher I completly get that. There are some birthday treats you dare eat and others you say "Thanks, I'll eat it later" and then throw it in the trash! haha
