since Jordan didn't have school last week (presidents week?) she was able to go and spend a few days with her grandparents in Peteluma. Jordan wanted to bring her BFF Emma along to spend one night with her and leave the next day with Paul and me. of course the girls asked me to "rock out" their hair a little (cuz you need cute hair for a 2 hour drive and picnic with your grandparents) so of course i did. we had the most fun afternoon, picnicing at this really cute french cheese factory (with a darling picnic area) and then shopping in Point Reyes. the weather was gorgeous, sunny and clear. we had a wonderfully relaxing day just watching the girls play and visiting with Jim and Carla (2 of our most favorite people) and Georgia (Jim's mom).
and of course i have pictures...i know what my bloggy readers like and it's how i roll, with the camera on!
posing in Jordan's gameroom before we hit the road

That does look like an awesome time - and nothing better then to share it with a friend! How fun. Glad that everyone had a nice time.
They look adorable! Love the hair. Isn't is so much fun to do your kids hair? It like playing life sized barbie...only mine don't hold still.
The week off in February is called Ski week. They used to get two weeks off for winter break and two weeks for spring break. Now they just get two for winter and one week in Feb. for "ski week" and one week for spring break.
I love all the pictures and it looks like you all had lots of fun! You did a great job on their hair! :) What a fun mom you are!
my girls don't want me to touch their hair...i think they're afraid of the brush lol

Cute pictures. I used to live in Santa Rosa. I'm pretty sure I have been to that park. The ducks look familiar!
Those two are the cutest BFFs ever!! Your daughter is such a doll and she just looks so sweet - I'll bet she is a great daughter. That looks like a great time - I'm glad and it was so beautiful.

Cute hair, cute post, CUTE GIRLS!!
I love their hair dos, I've been waiting for my youngest's hair to get long enough to do that!
I'm late in catching this post, but it made my heart ache just a tiny bit - I grew up in Novato, just a stone's throw from Petaluma (where my dad was actually born and raised!). Pt. Reyes is so beautiful - it's been years since I've been there. Oh, you lucky family, you! :)
What a beautiful place and a beautiful day. I just love sunny days. I love their hair dos. These girls are adorable together. So fun. Thanks for sharing.
