The Libby Lu Experience

Jordan received a wonderful gift from her Aunt Monica for Christmas: A Club Libby Lu gift card for a makeover and shopping. So we decided to make a day of it and wait till she was off track. We invited Jordan's BFF Emma and her mom Debbie for a day of shopping at the mall and Libby Lu and dinner. So the closest Libby Lu is in Fresno where they have a really nice mall and a Cheesecake Factory (Jordan loves cheesecake and has been dying to go to the Cheesecake Factory for a looooong time) We had such a fun day. i really like Debbie and Emma and the girls had a great time bouncing around the mall spending our money.

The highlight of the day was their makeovers though. Their appointment was at 5pm and started with a chance to dress up with items from the Libby Lu closet, the girls chose matching pink feather boas. The first part of their makeover was nails, followed by hair and a light dusting of makeup. The 'stylist' was very cute with them and chatted with them thoughout the makeover. AND she was VERY fast...2 complex hairstyles in under an hour! Jordan decided on the "rock star" package and ended up with a pretty rockin' hairstyle that included a headset microphone. Emma decided on the "tween idol" hairstyle that included a pink heart necklace. Each of the girls got to create items from the sparkle spa...Jordan made yummy smelling body lotion and Emma made sparkle fairy dust.

Here are a few pictures of OUR very fun day...

Jordan BEFORE her Libby Lu makeover....

A little lipgloss and a headset microphone completes this rock star look!

WOW is that a rock star?!? Jordan was really convinced a lady mistook her from someone famous when the lady gushed over how cute she was in the bathroom at dinner that night...soooo funny! "She really thinks i am a rcok star, should i tell her i am just a regular kid?"

Emma BEFORE her makeover.

A few twists and pins and she is rockin' that hairstyle...i definately took note on this one and Jordan is looking forward to trying it out herself.

A little bit of lipgloss and she is done....soooo cute Emma!

As part of the Libby Lu make over package the girls got to fill an adorable pink backpack (that said "I had a Rocking Good Time at Club Libby Lu")with 5 items from the 'pick a mix' wall. It was hard to make a choice on 5 items they were all so cool!

On the way out of Libby Lu the girls stopped to make a wish with a sprinkling of fairy dust for good measure.

It was a REALLY fun day shopping at the mall, having the Libby Lu make overs and ending it with a YUMMY dinner at the Cheescake Factory. Debbie and i were sooo glad to be sitting down we didn't mind the 45 minute wait for a table. It was pretty dark in the Cheescake Factory but here are a few pics from dinner.

MMMMMMMMMmmmmmmm Cheesecake!!

Jordan LOOOOOOOOOVES Cheesecake...and she really loved this one!
