You asked for IT...so here IT is

A couple of weeks ago i redecorated Jordan's bathroom and posted pictures of the silly and very monkey-fied (i make up words) result. After seeing those pictures my friend Kari asked me to post pictures of Jordan's bedroom and game room. Kari's sister Kati lives in Idaho and is a reader of our blog (holla!). and she wanted to see tooooooooo. So the fans have asked and here is Jordan's bedroom. AND this is the way she left her room when she left for school this morning. I never have to really ask Jordan to clean her room or make her bed, she does it and likes to keep her things in their place...i like to say she has just enough OCD to keep THIS mom happy. I hope these habits follow her into her teen years, but i am not holding my breath.

***YOU CAN CLICK ON ANY OF THESE PICTURES FOR A LARGER VIEW***

I bought some plain canvases and painted inspirational words on them...believe, aspire, dream and imagine. I added some little jewels and accents to just add a little whimsy to them. I also took an old lamp and added a feather voa to the lampshade, i think it is super cute and it gave the lamp new life.

She organizes all of her little treasures in these baskets and on these little shelves.

i bought these letters in bare wood, painted them, glued sticks to the back, and placed them in little flower pots filled with pastel colored aquarium stones. Cute huh?

Seeeeeeeee she CAN be messy...check out this wall and her closet...like i said just a little bit of OCD...lol...the perfect amount.

I made it into your blog!! I feel like a celebrity LOL. I have seen her room before but I love seeing how she has added her own touches to it through the year. It is really cute and you can tell a loved little girl lives there. I am calling Kati now to tell her to go look. I had forgotten about the name in the flower pots I am glad you took close ups of them and the canvases. I want you to paint those for the baby's room. OH it's a girl, we found out on Tues.

KARI!!!! a girl! oh how fun, i am soooooo excited for you and i will most def paint you whatever you want for that baby's room! i hate that i live here and not there, we will have to plan a girls weekend and make it all about the baby's room. any thoughts on names?

Yes, I am totally in for the girls weekend of decorating, I need you. We will need to do something in the boys room too though, since you will be here I am totally taking advantage. As for names Kevin wants to stick with "K" names. I personally am over it, but I guess if it makes him happy. We have Kyle and Keith so it might be silly to change now LOL. I like Kendra, Kaylie, and Kristy. What is your vote?

i really like Kaylie, but all of them are cute. You are probably "over it" because you grew up with the whole "K" name thing with Kati and you are twins (incase you forgot). but you are right, you are already comitted to it with the boys and all. and i will most def do whatever you like in the boys room. oh a girl i am so happy for you guys!!!!

Hi HolleeAnn, Paul and Jordan,

It has been a while since I checked your blog and there is a lot to see. Jordan your bedroom and playroom are really cool. HolleeAnn me thinks you outdid yourself.

Hope to see you all soon,
Jennifer

I am not brave enough or talented enough to do this in Sydnee's room but I do know how to use a glue gun and I am totally stealing the feather boa on the lampshade idea. I might need you to make her name in the little pots for me, that is very sweet, and girly.

I like Kennedy for a girl if you are looking for more girl names to throw in the mix. I knew a CFG named Kenna in college and it was short for Kennedy and I've liked it ever since.

HolleeAnn, i love jordan's room, and I agree with Mere...who wouldn't want a pink bedroom? there are many nights that i crawl into bed secretly wishing i were sleeping in Reese's pretty pink and chocolate brown bedroom instead! She still sleeps in the crib, so there is a beautiful untouched daybed in her room, mocking me b/c there with no snoring stinky aaron to share it with!

This is way off topic, but remember when mom was getting the red lemon fixed, and got an Aspire as a rental? That is possibly the worst car name in history. Also, wow! Jordan's room is freaky clean. Even the picture that was supposed to be "messy" is super clean. Zoey looks so sad waiting for her to come home. Hang in there pup.

like i said she has enough OCD to keep it clean enough and the "messy" comment was a joke. she asked me to pin up some of her favorite cards from her birthday on her bulletin board while she jumped in the shower one day...so i did...when we went in to say prayers she told me, "i fixed them a little, i wanted them on there cute." uh yeah!

I have three danes and we haven't frog in Wisconsin but they chase squirrels and rabbits as if they were greyhounds chasing that thingy they dangling in front of them at races... never went to one but saw it on tv.
I really enjoyed your blog... thanks
